Clyne's a good player. Mané is the best you've bought from us and has by a long stretch the highest potential.
I'm excited about him joining. He's the perfect type of player for Klopp. Our options to set up in attack are - Sturridge Mane Origi Benteke (selling?) Coutinho Firmino Lallana Ings NICE
Not at all. He genuinely does. He can let his head drop a bit if he's playing badly as he gets really frustrated at himself - I remember him being gutted getting two against your lot because he thought he should have had a hat-trick. But no, he genuinely puts in a proper shift.
Oh fair enough, sounds like a player that will do well for us, hopefully he'll enjoy playing with Klopp. Thanks for the information mate
I'd be really worried about Mane if we still had Rodgers in charge. With Klopp though? Sure, we've probably been lazy with scouting and we've probably (definitely) screwed up the negotiating and agreed to anything they put under our noses, but the big thing for me is that Klopp has agreed to signing him. That gives me confidence. Fee? ****. The player Klopp wants/needs? Yes.
cheeky git... What is the feeling atm? No doubt he'll be replaced very well again. What worries me about Mane is inconsistency - is that fair?
Kind of. We knew he would be going if a decent offer came in. We're disappointed because he's a hell of a player, but yes, he can be quite inconsistent. Not so much so that you go into a game thinking "oh he's inconsistent" because you'll get into the wrong mindset about him, if that makes sense? I've never watched him for us and thought "he's been utter pony", but I have and thought "my god he's unplayable today". So inconsistent in the sense he's not a world beater every single game.
That's positive. Amazed by this recent spell of transfers. Can't think of anything like it. Maybe Arsenal losing players to City. Hope you don't lose anyone else this summer
So basically lfc signed lallana. Decided hey he's no right winger so bought the guy saints bought to replace him and now we will try him out. What could go wrong... Seriously though as I've said we needed more competition in this area and pace so we've improved. I think Southampton will buy 3 with the money and we will be back to buy another of them. If lfc just got a left full and a real cm now I'd be delighted really. I mean I'd sack the lot of them in fm but we are only going for 6th or so so this signing helps us.
I think pelle might go... but after that I think most saints are on contracts so it's now down again to who is bought and by whom.
