I've only followed Puel at Lyon and he didn't impress me at all, and this guy seems to agree. But ok, maybe Puel and Lyon we're just a bad fit. If he comes to Southampton, it's a new story, and he starts with a clean slate as far as I'm concerned.
As this is the really negative thread I thought I would add my bit. Hello Will we be spending two years training up Wenger's replacement?
Perhaps we should have a manager academy....recruit them at the age of 8, they'd be ready 25-30 years later. About the same time we sign Puel at the present rate.
lets just focus on selling our best players again. 2 down... But there's load of other good players the owners could get healthy returns on gobble gobble
So if we make a profit on player sales again and improve our league position again you will continue to complain I take it?
Best man for the job in the boards eyes. Just going out and getting the biggest name out there doesn't work, have to fit the club, and vice versa.
Weren't you one of those who was complaining about the Academy players never getting a game under Koeman? By the sound of it Puel has a good record in that regard.
