Firstly I'm not here to win a popularity competition.
Secondly I said this on the eve of the vote..
"I'm heading to bed now, Tomorrow I will vote out for the reasons I have given. I believe the stay campaign to be wrong but I believe in democracy and if we end up staying I will accept it and move on and pray for my childrens future.
I sincerely hope that the government extend the same courtesy should they lose.
I thank you all for the debate and wish you all the best of luck in getting what you desire"

Wales narrowly beat N.Ireland 1-0 due to an own goal.
N.Ireland have set up a petition to get the game replayed because they lost the game only 1-0.
An N.Ireland spokesperson said "The final result was just too close and therefore we cannot accept that we have lost so we should be allowed another chance."

You make it sound like a lot of us dont care about the future of our kids. You couldnt be further from the truth. I dont know the stats but I would say an awful lot of those 17.4 million who voted out have kids of their own and maybe even grandkids too and they were a big reason behind the vote. I voted out for my kids amongst many other reasons.
Your opinion is that you think the future of our kids has been placed in jeopardy.
My opinion is that I think the future of our kids have been saved.
Our own individual circumstances make us come to our opinions.
I respect peoples opinions even if they differ to my own.
I would expect that same respect back.

Opinions aside - there is trouble brewing:
- in order to exit, we need to invoke article 50 to leave the union. This has to be submitted by the Prime Minister on behalf of the nation.
- to get endorsement to do this, parliament must approve.
- parliament is comprised of a majority of 'remain ' supporters who will probably vote against endorsement. Leaving the PM without permission to do so.
- will the Lords step in and 'force' it? Who knows. Nothing like this has ever happened before.
A side issue (again, opinion aside) - the call for a second vote is based on the fact that 75% of the eligible population must have been represented in a referendum.
In this case, only 73% were, thus rendering the result null and void.
Like I said, without prejudice- interesting times.

Just to clarify I don't believe that anyone on this sight voted out because of racist views. We are all better than that.
With the Eu referendum, I am very salty about the outcome but now it's been a day and a half since the outcome.
There's no point in arguing on whether it is good or bad now it's done. I can't be bothered for another argument. I've expressed my grievances and move on with time.
I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree and get on with the football now.
A lot of remain MP's have said the nation has spoken and they (the remain MP's) will respect the peoples decision and will carry out the outcome. I will be very surprised if they refuse to endorse it or if the Lords step in at all.
But as around 1.5 million have signed the petition for another referendum, it will get discussed in parliament. Interesting times as you say.
Im not saying you are wrong about the 75% point that you have made, but would this fact have been mentioned as soon as they were aware of the total turn out?? How come nothing has been mentioned about this? Surely Cameron would have come out and made a statement that it was null and void instead of resigning!
Somebody had better investigate the original vote that got us in via Harold Wilson because my memory says it was two thirds voted in and one third out, if true the bastards owe us billions..

Unfortunately some people in the UK did vote out due to racist views. Some sad people around.
Its great you can move on although not happy with it. The UK needs everyone to play their part and help keep this great nation going. The more people who gets on board (even if unhappy in doing so) the quicker things will improve. No point in cuttting off the nose to spite the face

This is getting deep!The article 50 is not the ref calling time. The ref correct blew up dead on 10pm for full time without any added time due, as per the rules (unlike the extra 48 hours added time given to allow more people to register to be able to vote).
I cant comment on the 75% rule as I would have thought if this was correct, Cameron wouldnt have resigned and this would be the big news story. However, thats just me putting 2 and 2 together, but if the 75% rules is incorrect then there was 46.5 million players were able to play but 13 million didnt bother to show up so 33.5 million were involved and more decided. Although the 1-0 score was close, that 1.3 million made all the difference. Sometimes, an own goal is all you need to win the game and Corbyn admitting you cant have any control on immigration while in the EU was a big own goal

I would say the full time whistle at the 10pm deadline would be right. Its over then. No one can add any more goals. You just got to add up the goals on both sides and see who won. If 33.5 million players, it would and did take time to count up. A bit like playing pairs with 33.5 million playing cards. After all the cards have been paired, the game is over. Then you have to counts the pairs to see who won
No one knows exactly how it will all work out. We all got opinions hence how we voted. But the decision has been made. So lets just try and be positive instead of swimming in a sea of negativity
