I never claimed to be and would never ever dare to, I am not arrogant or stupid and you cheapen yourself by making the comment.

The simple truth of the matter is that there ARE an increasing number of youngsters out there whose level of knowledge is not very distant from the staged video. I have absolutely NO DOUBT that you know this as well so, for me to comment on it, does not make me either a bigot or a better person, does it...?

She also fails to mention that to be independent and part of the EU, they need an established banking system which Scotland doesn't have!

What snobbery.. This is exactly one of the major reasons you lost that vote! You have no idea how much people who voted did or didn't know about why or how they came to that conclusion, it just doesn't fit with your view so it must be wrong! It was the same with your professor video.. because you put it here it must be right, ignoring all the other posts that had quoted financial experts, EU politicians, high level business people and the like..People who had actually lived it rather then talked about it all their lives.

And yet on here and widely on social media, the 'in' campaign ran a 'vote in' if you're not sure and we can vote out later if it doesn't work out..(another sly way of getting more votes when they knew damn well that would never happen) and that backfired too. (You're all not as bright as you think!)

The (intellectual) in lot are now signing a petition because the total votes cast was not over 75% of the population!

So like Nichola Sturgeon shall we keep having them till you get your own way?

If we do it again and you win, what happens if 75% don't vote again. Shall I start a petition?? (I get the feeling the intellectuals
haven't thought this through considering it was the biggest turnout since 1992.)

Just another observation.. I have spoken to dozens of people since the vote who didn't bother to vote, when I asked why? they said I didn't know enough about it.. when pressed what would they have done. They said out!

Also 2 million people were apparently added to the vote with the online registry extension.. all young people apparently.. still didn't help.

A massive swing of public sympathy after the Jo Cox murder (quite rightly. I wondered if this was all worth it myself) still didn't get your win.

Time to put the bottom lip back in now!

 

More scaremongering. No it didn't actually happen Prem. The UK's credit rating hasn't been reduced as you falsely claim. It's only an 'outlook' downgrade. The UK still retains its AA1 credit rating. Come on Prem, admit to everyone that you are wrong and I am right.

This was supposed to be a bit of fun - of course most people on both sides thought long and hard before casting their vote.

One thing to consider though - less than 50% of the country voted out. There will be challenges.
I'm adult enough to accept that I backed the losing side and will abide by it, but right now I think we have made a serious mistake.
I hope and pray to be proved wrong and will gladly absorb all the 'in your face - I told you so' taunts.

The French deal with Britain that keeps border checks, and thousands of refugees and migrants, on the French side of the Channel will remain in place and won’t be affected by the Brexit vote, the Paris government has said.

Under a bilateral treaty signed in 2003 known as the Le Touquet accord, British officials can check passports in France and vice-versa. This means the English border is effectively pushed back to France and migrants and refugees trying to reach Britain remain stuck in a no-man’s land at make-shift camps in Calais and on France’s northern coast.

The French foreign minister, Jean-Marc Ayrault, dismissed outright calls from politicians on the French right for a post-Brexit renegotiation of the Le Touquet accord that could push the border back to the Kent coast. “Would that also mean putting in place boats for people who otherwise risk drowning? I think we should be serious,” he said in a TV interview.

“On the question of immigration, to be clear, British exit from the European Union will not lead to changes in terms of immigration treaties with United Kingdom ... These are bilateral treaties,” said the government spokesman and agriculture minister, Stéphane Le Foll.

Since the Brexit vote, the French government has stressed that there would be no change to the border deal with Britain. Because the Le Touquet accord is between France and Britain directly, and not linked to the European Union, there is no automatic need to renegotiate the deal.

You obviously didn't read my reply to cliftonville did you. I'm no snob, I lived in Whitehall and drank in some of the roughest pubs in Easton, Greenbank and Barton Hill and I didn't order a Pimms or a cocktail with an umbrella I can assure you.

Trust me, my comments are very much based on observation of what goes on in real life and they are entirely valid I assure you.

This morning, on 5 Live, I have heard interview after interview with people who voted out along the lines of I'm shocked, I didn't actually think it would happen. It was supposed to be a protest vote.

I have to accept democracy in action but every time it adversely affects the ordinary man in the street, I will remind you of your dismissive "scaremonger" comment and in reverse, no doubt you will come on here and advise me of the actual post Brexit positives directly resulting from our departure (not freedom, etc because we have already voted for that)...

You have already increased the cost of our mortgages

 

The outlook was reduced to "negative" - sounds like you know as well as I do that this is enough to affect the rate at which the country borrows money - right..?

The young ladies level of intelligence could just have easily been posted with the obverse view, she could just as easily have voted in, you are using her vote as an indication of whether people who voted out should have been allowed to do so.

Incidentally, you don't have to be born in Clifton to be a snob, its a state of mind.

NO is the correct answer. So why say it has? Scaremongering is the answer.

You will also know that UK gilt yields fell yesterday = high confidence.

Both sides predicted finances will be hit to begin with if leave won. No surprise that it happened. But it seems like leave was right predicting it would not be as bad as remain was scaremongering.

Leave won. Get over it. You and some of the other remainers around the UK can either keep moaning and bitching about it which won't help anyone or even yourself. Or you can take it on the chin and adapt to the change that will come and work with everyone else to make our UK great. Choice is yours.

3.8% is not a majority and for such a major chance is very controversial.

With many admitting it was an antiestablishment swipe and the leave campaign admitting their big campaign bus point was bullshit it is all unjust.

The best thing to do would be to agree a deal and then vote on whether to leave and accept it or to remain.

 

I keep trying those. One day I will hit one sweetly.
