I'm not disagreeing with you . But I do think Pelle is the better player.

I think that too but trying to resist the "big lad up front" stereotype.

I don't know if that kind of player is the future, on the other hand not sure that signing a 3rd copy of Jay Rod/Austin is going to help us much either.

Not much in it on movement. I don't put Pelle in the mobile category. For me they are close in styles. I am not advocating Benteke, just pointing out that although not necessarily right for our style, Pelle still has been somewhat of a success here.
 
I quite enjoy the summers with Southampton, Gives us things to look forward too, Like mass debating over the players we sign and how rubbish they'll be but yet they surprise us and get further up the table. I Think Redmond could be a fantastic winger for us. Few more like him pls.

Not saying the board dont have ambition. Indeed there is not much the board can do to stop it. Just saying that it can only happen for so long as the teams that take our players are the teams we are fighting for places. Hope thats clear :azn:
