Sorry Imp Saint, you don't know this to be true. I agree that you and I are probably not going to believe the media and the "marketing" however there is no doubt that there are a large number of people who are taken in by it.
If the pound falling to its lowest levels since 1985 isn't severe economic consequences, then what is.
We do nothing next for a while. Everything stays the same while the politicians of each country talk to each other on how to move forward. Nothing has changed yet.
Wrong! Example one ( a selfish one). My prices have just gone up to everyone of my customers on the flick of an exchange rate dial. That means they may be forced to buy elsewhere or you end up paying more for your products.
I think many normal people would watch the news and then as soon as Kuensberg or Hardman or whoever else started going on about Boris this and Dave that and blah blah as if they were detailing the plot line of some BBC drama the average Joe was switching off the telly. The BBC and Ch4 News in particular have had almost no interest in trying to present news and more interested in sensationalising the relationships between the characters and they have focused more on what the bubble thinks of who is stabbing who and who is trying to appease who for a few years now. They no longer give us news on what is happening in politics. It is purely some intriguing plot of what each Westminster "personality" is up to or what his words meant, reading between the lines, this meant this not that. This was a dig at x. Where is the news? I can watch House of cards on youtube.
There is loads of agression from people not happy with the result, i think some need to calm down a bit your starting to sound like the people who were campaigning to remain, perhaps thats where you should be pointing your blame.
I'm not blaming you, I am telling you that your statement was wrong. Judging by the response I wonder if you'd actually overlooked the point I raised.
Well I'll make a prediction, and you can call me on it later today; When the London Stock Exchange opens shortly, billions will be quickly wiped off the value of shares. And if you think that won't affect you, it certainly will if you have a pension pot.
