Congratulations Custard.

It's frightening that a man like Nigel has so much influence on the English people.

The far right is awakening!

It is indeed worrying that anybody, let alone so many, take that racist sack of ****e seriously.
He only has, and has only ever had one policy. Get rid of all the immigrants...

She can ask for whatever she likes, she doesn't have the power to get it. At a very minimum she will need to wait until after the next Scottish election (they've only just had one) and then win a majority, which she failed to do this time around, then get a referendum passed through the Scottish government, then approach the uk government that will be in the middle of EU negotiations, who have given the Scottish people a referendum in recent history and get them to agree to a referendum, then get them to agree a date for a referendum which given the political climate wouldn't be for a long time logistically. Then she would need to get the people to vote for independence based on a weaker conomic model and no guarantee of entering the EU at the end of it. It would be a very long process and is unlikely at every single juncture.

Whilst I understand the opinion you are voicing there is no basis for it to become reality, particularly in the short term.

Now we can stick 2 fingers up to their 'human rights' and deny them a vote <party>

Now that idiot Farage has got his wish the honourable thing now would be to resign from his position as MEP and disband his party. However, honourable and Farage are two words that should not be used in the same sentence. He has used lies and hysteria to condemn the UK to the backwaters of the world. I would look forward to seeing the 52 hospitals per year being built and all the othe pie in the sky promises made by the leave campaign but I am not Methuselah.

Once again, we represent a tiny amount of EU global trade. We are nowhere near as important as you think!..

Upon our exit the euro has already dropped. On specific industries we would have a potentially huge effect if trade shifted to non-eu countries due to tarriffs, the much repeated German car market being a prime example. We run at a huge trade deficit with the EU, collectively it is still in there best interest to have a deal in place. Outside of the EU we are one of there largest trade partners. The ECB has already used crazy fiscal policy to avoid deflation and won't risk unnecessary damage given the fragile eu economy and issues mounting up in the Mediterranean nations. It makes no sense not to do a deal with us.

There are also the political and social implications of an exit and how the rest of the Europe will vie our exit.

We are one of the three largest contributors to the Eu financially and one of the largest in terms of trade with other Europe countries and we enable a better relationship with the common wealth countries on security matters and information trade.

We have a huge impact on the Eu just like Germany and France do and they have a huge impact on us.

You're not listening! Things have changed, and changed dramatically. She will get the Scottish people behind her, she will push for another vote. In my view, and that of others, with the majority of the Scottish people behind her it will be next to impossible to deny her.

She, and the Scottish people will justly claim that this is no longer the UK that they voted to stay in. They have shown quite clearly that they wish to be part of Europe.

Not so, the working class did it,
We have been **** on by the political elite for years, not listening to use about mass uncontrolled immigration and now they have maid there voice herd.

My area voted 55 leave to 45 in and thats a middle class area as well (except me, im an upper class toff)

And you're not listening that she will still need to follow the legal and political processes to even get to that point and she simply doesn't currently have that power. And you'd be surprised how many Scottish people would choose the uk over the EU, and again I'll mention that economically Scottish independence just doesn't work and the Scottish people aren't going to choose to **** themselves further than they are already worried by brexit.

In per capita terms we are nowhere near the biggest contributor,

The EU doesn't have a fiscal policy!!?? Fiscal policy is operated by the individual Gvts.

There will,be a deal, just not the one we would like!....

Totally agree with this. As has been clearly demonstrated in yesterdays vote, the general public can always be relied upon to make the right choice when the time comes.

In actual terms we are one of the three big contributors, ourselves, the Germans and the French.

The ECB however does, and decisions such as extending QE and negative interest rates announced earlier this year are high risk economics to avoid deflation of the EU economy and further damage to the Eurozone.

There will be a deal and it will ultimately be one that allows trade to continue as normal, or as close to it as possible because that's what both sides want above all other compromises that may or may not have to be made.

When the immigrants keep arriving many of those who voted to leave will realise that they were lied to. Unfortunately there is no second leg of this fixture.

Watch!! She will stir it up and push very hard. Given the outcome of this vote, she will be hard to deny.

The Gvt cannot ignore the will of the Scottish people. They will pay for it at election time if they do...

As to your claim about the UK, the Scots have just voted to remain in the EU. So, they have already made their choice.

They you change the government for one that will sort it out, but you will find it will slow it down to more manageable levels. and thats what we need

They also voted to remain in the UK. In fact over 2 million scots voted to remain in the UK, while approx 1.6 million voted in this election to stay part of the EU. So more Scottish people felt it was important to vote to stay with us than to stay with Europe.

Because the EU stop us and that is a fact.

No have deal with the USA, Australia and China, now we can do one with these countries.

As I just said, in per capita terms, we are not!...not even close...

QE was very necessary at the time, just as it was in the USA and the U.K. without it the global economy would have collapsed. On that note, expect more from the BOE after this result!...

There will be a deal, just don't expect it to be on our terms!...

The ECB has NO control over fiscal policy. That is a fact!...assuming you know what fiscal policy is.....?

They voted to stay in a UK that was part of the EU. That is no longer the case!...
