Shame on me for not thinking the same as you, REALLY....??!!!

The ultimate irony of your post is that you can't see that you are doing nothing more than speculating about the whole thing. The only "fact" that you have presented is that if we leave the EU, we will no longer be subject to their policies.

You SPECULATE that we will trade worldwide with who we chose, I don't agree. This is my opinion balanced against yours and these are nothing more than opinions so don't give it the "facts" routine

You SPECULATE that a Britain outside of the EU will be a better place. I doubt it - again, my opinion against yours.

You SPECULATE that Leave will make a good job of it - on this, I definitely don't agree


You have presented one fact in that if we leave, we will no longer be part of the EU and the bits that go with it. The rest of your assertion is just that with added emotive posters. That is in fact, mostly all Leave have to offer, lots of cut and pastes and very little substance on post Brexit...

I'm heading to bed now, Tomorrow I will vote out for the reasons I have given. I believe the stay campaign to be wrong but I believe in democracy and if we end up staying I will accept it and move on and pray for my childrens future.

I sincerely hope that the government extend the same courtesy should they lose.

I thank you all for the debate and wish you all the best of luck in getting what you desire.

But remember.. You can't scare me!

Not true..!

Mine was that if we leave the EU we will no longer have access to the single market. - FACT...!

The leave campaign however seem to think that it will be business as usual in this respect so I was asking for someone to explain how this would be the case.

Still waiting...

The European Parliament is elected and the European Council consists of elected ministers.

If Greece didn't want to accept a bailout from the EU, they could've left and gone on their way, but they chose to stay in and take the EU's money. If they hadn't been so profligate in the first place they wouldn't have the problems they're experiencing now.

This has been covered on the previous 60 pages that you weren't able to read on multiple occasions. just because you turn up here 2 days before the referendum asking the same old rubbish doesn't mean we are at liberty to go through it all again

I have asked you multiple questions that barring some waffling about "it was a joke" or I twisted it, you have not answered once.. I am still waiting.

BTW, I answered your question on page 2 of this thread directly to you!

Having vacillated between the two options for a long time. I am not convinced by either argument. I do see however two things which influence me.
1. There are some very strong feelings in the rest of the EU that the UK must be made to pay big time if we exit.
2. There are large and growing numbers of groups across Europe who are as equally against many of the things which we are against.

So on balance, I am voting to remain.

I've never been a quitter and I hope we stay in and continue to bang our heads against the EU brick wall until we see some common sense prevail.

You are not mtg. My understanding is that people in this country can only vote for meps. Meps who will not be making our laws.
Other sections of the EU and there are a lot are not answerable to virtually anybody.The Greek people chose next to nothing. The unelected EU elite think they know best resulting in madness like British fishermen not being able to catch fish off the coast of Britain. Farce,

Banging our heads against a brick wall,with the eu sucking us dry for all they can get.

Voting out as i hope the majority do.

I was hoping for a the same kind of break from this thread in the sense that the press are barred from reporting on issues today however I am unable to "leave it" (pun intended)...!

Firstly, directly responding to the questions that you say I didn't answer (but did really)

Do Germany send cars through Europe with right and left hand drive? - yes of course they do because we drive on the left and the rest of Europe drives on the right. Not really sure what your point is. In addition to being a regulation, it is a basic requirement for safe motoring

Do electrical goods have multiple plugs or rectification to the relevant countries electricity supply? - plugs are made to suit the country that the goods are sold in. Again, common sense apart from anything else.

Is it acceptable that 300.000 immigrants will enter this country next year requiring us to build a City the size of Hull to accommodate them..? - this is part of the requirement for membership so there is no question as to whether it is acceptable, it is a just a fact. Personally, it does not cause me the sort of emotive angst that we see on here and, it helps to boosts tax revenue. Anyway, this is nonsense "question" because you know that we don't have to build a city to accommodate anyone, it's not like we have separate areas for people moving to this country. Undoubtedly more housing is required but this is something that this country has fallen down on for literally decades.


There are your answers, although regarding the first 2, you turned the point that I made to suit the leave profile. MY statement in this respect was that leaving the EU free market would automatically remove the amnesty that all members receive about having to comply with individual legislation regarding component parts NOT obvious things like providing a plug to make something work or having the steering wheel in on the correct side.

Regards answering my question re business as usual on leaving the free market, I will read through all 60 odd pages tonight but you know as well as I do that the correct answer to the question is that "no, it will not be business as usual with the EU" as we will be out of the club - not something you care to concede..?

Off to vote and then see Ma and Pa now so signing off for now.
