The Eu is not a dictatorship, it is elected, just because more people vote for it doesn't make it not a democracy

I can't believe you have written this after 60+ pages of facts that have made it crystal clear even without argument from the stays that it is not a voted democracy.. there is no argument about that!

Not interested in my spelling offer then?

We're better off In.

We've prospered for 40 + years in the EU. In the short term we may have high immigration but it's a price worth paying for being a member of the largest and most successful trading bloc in the world. Europe is still recovering from the biggest financial shock in history, but countries like the Czech Republic and Pokand are growing fast, so issues with immigration will flatten out soon.

The benefits we accrue from trade, scientific collaboration, security, culturally etc outweigh the negatives in my opinion.

In will win tomorrow, mark my words.

Reactions: Mind the gap!
The simple answer is we know what we are going to get from the EU, it's what we've got now, a complete bloody mess after all of these 40 odd years, If we manage to take control it's up to our nation, not a bunch of unelected, faceless bureaucrats and their minions crowing about us being gravediggers, causing the distruction of the Western world, world war 3, £4000 per year worse off in 30 years, causing an emergency budget which will increase taxes, borrowing, reducing our pensions, increasing food prices, we are all racists and trying to scare us all with the lies of project fear.....

No we have a message of hope and great future for our nation, I trust our people and shame on the liars and scaremongers that are trying to belittle them,.

Vote Leave...

Yes but indication suggests that companies will invest in Eu countries when looking for European countries to invest in.

We aren't in a position geographically that means we won't be unaffected.

Again your have not answered the earlier questions. I will answer your post and I will use again use your chosen multinational example Airbus. They invested money into manufacturing in a European non EU Country - Turkey.

I can believe it. I did post about the commission and council. No takers ...

Most EU treaties and Directives are enshrined in Swiss law, Switzerland pays into EU coffers and is a member of the free trade area meaning there is free movement of goods, services and most importantly, people.

So the Swiss model would have no impact on immigration, we'd still be part of the Single Market, we'd pay in a reduced amount but we'd have no vote and no veto.

Not a great example.

banksyisourhero, post: 9380334

You've ignored dozens of mine! - possibly 1 or 2 but like I said, I could not keep up with the posts last night

Why is it so difficult for you to enlighten us on your occupation? - my firm has a strict social media policy. What has it got to do with this debate anyway, I told you I have never had anything to do with education (other than receiving it)

Do Germany send cars through Europe with right and left hand drive? - what...? - I ignored this one last night because you cleverly twisted my comment about a left/right handed flux capacitor (which was supposed to be a fun reference Doc).

Do electrical goods have multiple plugs or rectification to the relevant countries electricity supply? - again, twisted - If France/Spain/Romania has a particular arcaic component requirement, EU members will be exempt from complying with it however, non members will not...

Is it acceptable that 300.000 immigrants will enter this country next year requiring us to build a City the size of Hull to accommodate them? - free movement is a part of membership. Whether it is acceptable or not is entirely a value judgement but, if most of these are working, does this not fund the economy...?

If the EU won't play nice, how do we gain more influence than we have failed to obtain yet in 40 years? - ? if we are out, there is no possibility of any influence

Regards your question it has been answered many times throughout this thread.. We trade worldwide. - WE CHOSE!!! - err, no we don't - the countries we want to trade with do and they will decide the terms on which we do business i.e. we DO NOT control this

The difference between me and you is simple.

I accept that leaving will not provide all the answers but it gives us control!

You or MTG have not answered one single question with a 'fact' on one single occasion just speculation and opinion.. may, may, may.

60 pages and not one answer! and you want an answer from me??

It is not just MTG and I who give it "may". The only difference is that you disguise "may" with "will".

It seems also that you confuse growing some with any kind of rationality. Yes, we will be free, bankrupt, ignored and alone but at least we will be glorious British failures.

The world just doesn't work like that anymore and frankly, to put so much faith in a leader whose sole reason for campaigning is to stick it to his former best mate is reason enough to vote "in" in itself...

Your turn, answer my question, if you can but I suspect you can't because you just don't know but you SPECULATE that we can

Your turn, answer my question, if you can but I suspect you can't because you just don't know but you SPECULATE that we can

I cant be bothered to answer the other points as you are just going round in the same old circles.

But every post both MTG and yourself have put on here has been speculation dressed as fact. its what the stay campaign have done all the way through. What if this? were doomed.. lots of people can see through it all. I just hope its enough.

I dont pretend to know all the answers, thats why I vote for people who may, a benefit you would gladly see removed from me and the rest of the British people.

Shame on you!

Never really got these emotive memes. We're not giving our country away by choosing to Remain in the EU.

Anyhow, our soldiers were fighting against the tyranny of the Nazis, not against the EU. The two can't be compared.

Fighting fire with fire is how I see it.. funny how you can only see it from one angle!

We were on our own fighting to save democracy and Europe against fascism from countries across Europe, I won't name countries but I can think of a lot more than just Nazis, I won't compare but I will remember all of our family members that gave up their lives to save our democracy and way of life..

They certainly did. My Uncle was killed in the evacuation of Crete and my Grandfather was shot through the neck in Palestine (he survived). But that was against the Nazis which is a totally separate issue.

Indeed, part of the reason the EU was set up was to bind the warring nations of Europe together with trade to prevent the horrific wars that generations past had endured. In that is has been highly successful.
