It's lucky there are people like us or the queues for Glastonbury would be even worse. Don't you love being able to shake your head and tut when you see people caught up in airport delays (courtesy of the French usually).
After putting myself through hell at Floridian theme parks last year without being arrested for queue rage, I will seriously be avoiding crowds....airport queues are the worst as I am either desperate to arrive or knackered on my way home so hopefully I'll survive my couple of weeks in Turkey this August. I was going to France this summer but changed my plans. Very glad too in the current French industrial climate.

Help needed for helicopter to get her to the venue around the traffic. This artist must not be missed. Always drive to France, never fly. Don't go via Calais either in holiday time. We are driving to France this year. 12 of us, three cars. Our 4 are driving via Portsmouth/Cherbourg, the others via Dover/Calais. I am looking forward to having an extra day or maybe two at the villa before they arrive after the delays I think they'll be hit with.
You really know how to push the boat out, don't you? I hope it is at least a luxury tent and not a Tesco special.
10 of us were going via the tunnel in 3 cars, then driving to western France. I'm glad I changed plans. I usually use the Plymouth - Roscoff crossing but also like the Cherbourg route too. Plymouth - Santander is a nice way to start hols right down in the south west also. Relaxing mini cruise before you have any driving to do is great.
In all seriousness, it's a great example of the haves and the have nots in music - we're playing a 10,000 person stage on the Saturday night, same time as Adele, at Glastonbury. We're getting paid £100 between six of us...
When will people learn?! Wild animals are wild, not tame, not OK to be chained, but wanting to run and chase, especially cats. Poor thing
In the lovely Loire valley at the moment. Wonderful. No problem getting food or fuel. Excellent breakfast of French bread and coffee. Sunshine and birds singing. A little walk into town later for MORE wine .....
