Just came across a full list of the various people and bodies who wish GB to please stay in the EU:

Opinions eh?

I want to leave the EU but have absolutely no fears about immigration or wish it curtailed. My wish to leave is about the lack of political accountability and a fierce dislike of the Agricultural Policy. Sadly all the out PR seems to border on racism and many of the lead figures in the out campaign I would not share oxygen with.

I discussed this all with my two daughters who are 17, they are furious that they are not allowed to vote as they feel it is their future we’re deciding. I remember in 1975 not being able to vote and was a little miffed then. The upshot of this is I will be voting to stay in even though personally I still think long term the UK (well, England if I’m honest) would thrive outside the EU. I do know however this will take time and meanwhile some could suffer financially short term. So I’ve promised the girls to vote for them, and keep them talking to me. I hope I don’t live to regret it.

Got off the phone about 20 mins ago from a mate who I hadn't spoken to for a month or so. Last thing I asked was, how are you going to vote on Thursday.? He said, OUT. And why, I asked.? Don't really know, he said. When I made the immigration suggestion he vaguely said yeah. He has absolutely no idea of the implications of it all.
 
Watching a bit of the great debate and it's exactly what I thought it would be. School play ground bickering by overpaid liars that are only thinking of themselves. Plus not one person has answered my question about my holiday price going up.

It actually flashed through my mind on the day of Jo Cox's assassination that her husband had fallen out of love with his MP wife because he was able to be so objective and brave. But I was wrong. He is just being incredibly brave. There's no doubt he loved his wife and still loves her.

Perhaps the most tragic thing about the leave campaign is how they rant on about Britain having no say despite this being a vote mandated by our Parliament on whether to stay in the EU. The irony is choking.

The whole thing has been a scaremongering shambles to try and scare the misinformed and play on prejudices and stereotypes.

On both sides. Embarrassing and would just like it to all be over with, although this is just the start...

In 48 hours time the polling stations will be closing.

Am doing the vote counting. Should be exciting. A big turnout expected and a lot of interest. Could be a very late night.

Mmmmmm, was involved in the count for the recent police crime commissioner for the county. Only a 19% turnout in this area for that.

Can't really see it myself but an 80% turnout expected in some areas. I would guess at between 50 - 60% for this area.

I think 80% is a bit optimistic. I expect it to be just a little higher than a GE

Just the way I saw it too. Basically we'll either end up an impoverished minor country with a failing infrastructure or as part of a bureaucratic European state. What I can't understand is if leaving would be such a disaster why did Cameron set up a referendum for the unreliable British public to decide on.

He needed to slow UKIPs growth and keep people with the Tories. Personally, I think he was probably banking on another coalition with the Liberals where the pro-EU liberals could've had the referendum taken off the table as part of the negotiations on key policy when forming a government.

IMO, anyway.
