On the left hand side are the group numbers. Once we know the four best third place finishers then we will know which selection to use on the above chart.
So if the four best third place teams come from groups A, B, C & D then we use the top example.
Unfortunately, I have formatting issues, but on the right hand side of the selection is the order of who plays who, which matches with the order of the winners line above.
So in the top example, winners of group A play third place team in group C
Winner of Group B(Wales) play third place team in group D
Winner of Group C play third place team in group A
Winner of Group D play third place team in group B
It's probably best to just wait until the group rounds are over, but if you want to try and guess on who Wales might face based on current results, then I can tell you that groups A & D currently have the worst third place records, so the current selection would be B C E F.
That would put Wales against the 3rd placed team in Group C which is Northern Ireland, but this is the only set of third places which will see the home nations play each other. It's more likely that Wales will play either Turkey or Albania
