Turkey lead against Czech Republic.
If my calculations are correct, then it Turkey win by three goals or less or end up drawing then Northern Ireland will qualify for the last 16

I have no idea but Sky says 'If Czech Republic fail to beat Turkey in Group D on Tuesday evening then Northern Ireland will be guaranteed to qualify for the last 16, as long as Turkey don't win by a four-goal margin or more.'
Wales play the 3rd team in A, C or D, so could play NI. How they decide which 3rd team I have no idea.
The best four out of the six third placed teams will go through.
Currently three groups have concluded
Slovakia 4pts
N.Ireland 3pts 0 GD
Albania 3pts -2 GD
So the two worst records will miss out.
Before tonight's games. Turkey had 0 points and -4 GD and Czech had 1 point and -1 GD.
So a Turkey win means they would join Albania & NI on 3 points, but there GD is pretty **** and it's likely NI will have the third worst record.
A Czech win and they will have 4 points and NI will stay in the bottom 2. Although still two groups to be concluded. I say they should be ok, which is why the performance of their keeper was so crucial today

One more please Croatia, I'd quite like to be watching Italy v Spain.
They talked about this on 5 Live earlier. It's then down to "fair play", so the number of red and yellow cards.
Once we know which 4 teams go through as third place teams, there is only one permutation of these 4 teams that fits the 'A,C,D' type options for every match.
But we won't know that until the end of the final group games tomorrow night.
