Don't see that often. Joe Ledley has been playing with a shinpad at the back of his left leg as well as the front. He's played well.
I'll tell you truthfully. Both England and Wales were playing in red and were attacking the same end. So, watching both, I occasionally momentarily forgot which team was Wales and which was England. But every time there was an excellent bit of play it was Wales doing it. Not kidding.
Good to know. I must admit, I was very, very impressed tonight, I just hope they can play like this on Saturday. Laughing at Joe Ledley dancing in front of the Welsh fans
I didn't know Joe Allen spoke Welsh! Just checked, because his accent is like mine, and he was born 10 miles from me!!
Well done Wales - fantastic. Lets hope Northern Ireland can do enough tomorrow to make it a clean sweep of British teams in last 16.
Fair play to Wales, deserved to win the group. Where one team can't score, one team can't defend and the other team can only defend and can do nothing else. Terrific!
Here's how the 2nd half looked once I decided to watch both matches: please log in to view this image On the left ITV1 on TV Online. On the right ITV2 on the ITV Player LIve. Worked rather well. You may notice there was also a tab open for Not606.
That's the guy who broke his leg, isn't it? Probably protecting the fibula. I broke mine, when I used to play. Soldiered on, then went to my GP, who said it was bruising. Carried on at work, limping everywhere, then standing up too early on the bus (just before it went down the bumpy road approaching the floating bridge terminus, town side) and lurched into a seat. Trip to the ER and X-ray revealed the earlier break. Could have done with a shin pad on both occasions. The tackle from behind and on the bus.
