... I'd doubt it ... even Woy will realise that he needed all his 'get out of jail' cards ... he'll probably spout some bollocks about how "it was always our intention for Waheem and Hawee to have earned themselves a well earned west for the next stage" ...blah, blah, blah...

Sturridge should start with Vardy and Rashford as the options off the bench, they can stretch tiring defences. Kane looks knackered.

The Hurra deserves to be rested for at least one match before he takes back his rightful spot of England's No.1 striker.

... Vardy through the middle... time to switch the tempo up .. :)
To be fair, apart from the goal which would have been offside if the assist hadn't been by a Welsh player, Vardy looked lost. Sturridge is proven international class and a constant threat. I think Sturridge is a tool but he's without doubt England's best striker.

...yes ...he was only involved in both goals plus made a crucial headed clearance in his own box from a set piece...to be fair England looked lost until he entered the fray ... I'm with Alan Shearer.. "Vardy has to start" ... his opinion ought to count :)

You think Shearer should be picking the England team?

Ok then.

By the way, your argument for Vardy starting is a good argument for Sturridge starting.

...I think Shearer is more than qualified to comment on the England centre forward position... and surely with 4 goals in 5 games including strikes against the Dutch and Germans I think Vardy now has proven international credentials...

Is Lineker qualified to assess England strikers?

... as for needing international experience? ... lazy bollocks tbf ... Rooney's best tournament was his first ... look what Payet and Kante are doing ... contrast with the overly groomed Ronaldo ... less experience can be positive... less fear of abject failure...

It's clear the English public want to see the most gifted striker start.

Sturridge causes problems to any defence and has the ability to score from nothing. He simply has to start.

Vardy needs redbull and nicotine patches to train ffs <doh>

... :) Sturridge requires the full contents of the medical cabinet to get out of bed never mind train ffs ... it's clear the majority of the English public outside of the Sky4 fans and plastic scousers would love to see the Leicester lad burning it up ...just like they did in the EPL with the Leicester team this season ... :)
