Now that people are becoming comfortable with the possibility of Pellegrini being our next manager, is it safe to Make a comment?

He signed Raheem Sterling for shedloads of money. <yikes>

Was it really him who spent that money? I doubt it.

Sterling's had a couple of disappointing games off the back of a long injury. He hasn't suddenly become a bad player, all the potential is still there.

Not a couple, a season. Too lightweight and overrated.

He isn't as physically strong as Lallana.

They have that Barcelona director of football Txiki Begiristain. I would imagine he had a pretty major say in who was signed

Also there are a couple Man City deals with definite hints of neutering premier league opposition (not necessarily direct rivals). I am thinking of Sterling and Bony. They signed Bony when they had Dzeko (and Ihenacho coming through) for big money to be a reserve. Just because they could, He was never ever going to challenge for a first team place whilst Aguero was there

He reminds me a lot of Theo. Has pace, great feet and overall great potential, but dosen't really have a finish or final ball.

Only diffrence is theo is a decent lad, where as sterling seems like a cocky little prick!

Let's sign Linford Christie then. Sterling was always overrated, lacks technical ability. He is probably good enough to play for Poland or Italy. But not Wales ;)

    Forum Watch!

Area Six on the UI says that Saints are talking to their preferred choice and his agent this weekend.

He doesn't know who it is but he is foreign. I believe this poster has a good record but I don't like even lurking on UI, it's horrible.

He also said Victor has been sold for £12.5m to Spurs with £1.5m going to Celtic.

The bit about Victor is 100% correct. 11m + Spurs paid the sell on. They were keen to do business with us relatively straightforwardly this time around
