Lets see how year 2 goes first, i think its fair to say hes done wonders this past year but from his previous jobs, hes certainly had second season syndrome (bar maybe Chelsea and Monaco). Could be to do with the Italy job though, im sure he'd make the shortlist.
Ventura is to succeed Conte as Italy boss ... as for Ranieri? ... be tough to match season's exploits but he is way too good a manager to be sacked at Christmas... and just look at the patience and support that our owners gave to Nigel Pearson during a 16 game winless run in the Championship and during the first season in the Prem...
Is there any basis for this 'thought'? Do you think we will lose all our best players or suffer a terrible dip in form? Are we just another football club or are our owners better than most (all?) of the deluded, knee-jerk merchants out there? Or have you just stopped believing?
Robbie Brady (Norwich) http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...eport-leicester-want-robbie-brady_274862.html
Been fairly consistent for Hull and Norwich over the years, can play left wing or wingback. Will prob be fairly cheap for his ability given Norwich's relegation.
I know its only the sun, but positive to hear rumours Arsenal are moving onto other striking options from our point of view.
The FA Cup is now the only thing we haven't won in the top domestic competitions. I thought we had more chance of winning that than the Premier League, and I didn't think the chances of that were great. Would be fantastic to complete the set this season.
I speaking to Man Utd fan yesterday and he 2 interesting views 1) vardy would be wrong to Arsenal their style doesn't suit him 2) Leicester probably won't repeat league win with many teams strengthening that Leicester should give the Champions league a good go. I agree with him on both points - do we want Barca, either Madrids or Bayern in the final please log in to view this image
I have opposing views: 1) Vardy is who Walcott was supposed to be - Arsene has given up on him and gone for someone already at that stage. 2) Every team is building from scratch while only us and Spurs seem to be strengthening. Keep the players and we have a good chance of repeating last season.
Our scouts won´t let us down. If a couple of top players go (which I both expect & hope not) then they, the scouts, will find someone else, plus they´ll add to the players that are being released to strengthen our squad which needs to happen season in season out from now on. We can really be one of the top 4 or 5 in the country, we have the backing & plans to extend Filbert way / build a new 60,000 seater stadium. So things are looking up in a big way. "UT2015-16PC"
Clubs are after Ulloa - has been a squad player and is nearing 30 so might be tempted to let him go http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/l...ds-for-ulloa/story-29413408-detail/story.html Would like to keep him - offers us a different option.
We also look like to be cooling off on signing Musa and are after Niang again http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/l...tory-29414420-detail/story.html#ixzz4BrAP5g8X Don't know much about the kid aside from that he shouldn't be allowed to drive.
I love this headline (we are interested in Ben Arfa) EX-NEWCASTLE ATTACKER EYED BY BEST TEAM IN ENGLAND http://www.footballinsider247.com/leicester-chase-former-newcastle-star-report/?
