Im not sure what we see in Deeney, Ighalo seemed to be the main man there and it was a less than convincing second half of the season from Watford as a whole. Hes unlikely to hassle as much as Okazaki, though he may give more of a physical presence.
Must admit I have mixed feelings about Deeney. He's never come across as particularly likeable, but is that really important? The same could have been said about Danny Simpson. In some ways he seems like he'd be a good fit. He's not some big time Charlie with an inflated ego, he has more of a smaller club mentality, doesn't give up, is willing to put himself about a bit and does have an eye for goal. I would say he has more composure and is a better finisher than Okazaki, and if he's willing to do the hard closing down work he could fit in nicely. I don't think he's worth breaking the bank for, but at the right price he could be worth a punt.
Deeney does the same job as Okasaki but is more of a goal threat and English. I'd like him but wouldn't pay more than £15m

I'd get him in regardless now, we haveto prepare for players leaving and having adequate replacements in place already is a part of that, would be best for the club. I think its why we are interested in a few DMs already, as murmurs are that Kantes off to PSG after the euros. Then again, we do have Gray, so its not as if we'd be totally lost for a right winger if Mahrez left.
