Yes Yorkie got there. It is Salisbury Cathedral that had the spire added in the early 1300's. In addition to it having a window for each day of the year, a marble pillar was installed for every hour of the year. (8760 in total)

This is a great historical novel about Salisbury and the Cathedral through the ages.... worth a read if people like this sort of book.
Anyway:

I think that was in the news yesterday - a South African issue Dinky 139. Presumably a good price because it's toy?

The actress Angelina Jolie's uncle wrote a 1960s song which was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic, but which was incorrectly credited to the singer. What was the song?

It's Wild Thing - written by Chip Taylor but generally credited to Presley. "Chip Taylor" is actually James Voight, brother of John and therefore uncle to Angelina Jolie.I guess it's a Trogg's hit but I can find no reference to it under Troggs or Reg Presley!
