Yes Yorkie got there. It is Salisbury Cathedral that had the spire added in the early 1300's. In addition to it having a window for each day of the year, a marble pillar was installed for every hour of the year. (8760 in total)

This is a great historical novel about Salisbury and the Cathedral through the ages.... worth a read if people like this sort of book.

It's Wild Thing - written by Chip Taylor but generally credited to Presley. "Chip Taylor" is actually James Voight, brother of John and therefore uncle to Angelina Jolie.
