Played my singles knock out and won 4 & 3 despite giving 14 shots away.
Practiced this morning after dropping the wife off t work and my McDonald's breakfast, yum yum.
36 holes tomorrow after watching England win tonight.

Well played Crumble...its really tough to get anything giving that amount of shots away...and to win quite convincing is excellent..

Terrible day of golf was had. I kept pulling every shot to the left and it is something I have done more and more recently. Think I need lessons <laugh>

I sometimes pull mine, golf shots that is!
I finish my shot round my body rather than finishing high and getting thru the ball, frustrating when I keep doing it :emoticon-0121-angry

Yes well we will leave that alone for now, 1-1 after playing so well and creating so many chances.
At least we didn't get beaten.

Was once playing Roseberry Grange on my own and caught up to a two ball who invited me to join them. It was only Jim Montgomery and his mate. Also remember playing some course in Darlington and Billy Hughes was the steward, showed us his cup final medal. Apparently he is a good golfer, played off 4

Played our mixed pairs knock-out Sunday morning and got beat despite leading for most of the game. Went 1 down on the 17th so needed to win the last to take it down the 19th, unfortunately only halved the last. Good match all the same and the wife's game has picked up very well over the last couple of weeks which is a bonus.

Wouldn't mind playing in mixed pairs with some hot totty. She'd have to carry me given a par is celebrated like a lottery win at the moment but the view would be nice!!

If you get a chance , catch some of the putts she made ...unmcfukingbelievable.
3rd youngest person to win a major , including men . She putted a super long one from off the green to get an eagle ( 90 footer ) .I would have needed binoculars to line it up .Made a long one to par on the 18th to send it to a playoff hole ....woohoo .. Mike Weir , move over .

Anyone having a bet on the US Open?

I usually have a tenner to win on one of the favourites and a tenner way on an outsider.

This time round I'm thinking about Dustin Johnson to win @ 14/1 and Henrik Stenson e/w @ 33/1 (William Hill)
