I think he's better in attack from those positions. Plus we need another free kick/corner taker...we can't rely on Snodgrass the whole time. He's not the first player I'd be looking to buy though....we need some proper pace in the positions he plays so I'd only buy him if we can't find anything better/cheaper/faster. They'd want their £8.5m back surely?
If Brucey stays I think he might stick with a 4231 formation:

Its easy to write and we get it every close season, look at Michael Turner, the number of times he was coming back.
Last week on this thread a few pages back. The N.I lad Norwood , We were supposed to be Interested In. Any one notice any quality watching Him , in the Euro's.
watched him with interest last night and tbh didn`t do anything to suggest he has a lot of quality, but having said that NI were mainly on the back foot all game
I only noticed the lack of quality from him yesterday. And for a set piece taker is s***
I would be very happy with Brady and Robertson down the left wing. They always linked well and after another 2 years of development they would be a strong pairing. Just think a quicker left sided CB would help in the prem.
I dont see why people are so keen to go back as close as possible to the team that got us relegated.
