Respect they held them off for about 50 minutes. Their side is amazing compared to theirs. They really worked their arses off.

The way I see the NIR squad is, in terms of English football, they are like a Burnley. Very good, but there is no way they will dominate. they will probably get relegated, they could stay up, but very unlikely. that's how I see NIR

Danny Murphy talking about Ukraine winger Yarmalenco....Yeah he's been very quiet, I think he needs the ball!!! Are the BBC paying for his pearls of wisdom?

It made me laugh listening to commentary yesterday.

I don't know who it was but it was on radio 5 live. He said that NI were struggling to get the ball in midfield and needed to regain control so they could get Lafferty in the game. That's fine.

The very next sentence he said that maybe NI need to bring on another striker to play 2 upfront? So what about regaining control in midfield then? You do know that if you replace one of your midfield with a striker you will have one less player in midfield don't you?

Just made me chuckle a bit.

Intertesting comments from Russia

Russian MP Igor Lebedev criticised French police and called on Russian football fans to "keep up the good work".

"I see nothing wrong with football fans fighting. On the contrary, well done to our boys! Keep up the good work!" he tweeted.

"What happened in Marseille and other French cities is not the fans' fault. It is down to the police's inability to organise and hold such events," he wrote in a separate tweet the same day.

Just think what the next World Cup will be like ?
