I'm bored to **** at work so was wondering what people's thoughts are on the Euro's. Winner, top scorer, preferred England line up etc. I would go with this for the first game; --------------------------------------------------------Hart ---------------------Walker------------Smalling-------------Cahill-----------------Rose --------------------------------------------Rooney----------------Dier --------------------------------Rashford---------------Alli--------------------Lallana ----------------------------------------------------------Kane Highly unlikely Rashford will start I know but I'd never in a million years pick Sterling. I'd go Wilshere instead of Rooney alongside Dier if he was fit but he isn't Rooney will start. France have proved in previous tournaments at home that they *tend* to win it so I think they are the team to beat with Germany my joint favourites. Top scorers the mighty Tony Marshall and Thomas Muller.
Germany to win, think Belgium might come close tho. Top scorer Spain's Morata. Would like to see Kane and Vardy start with Rooney on the bench but it won't happen.
He might well, yes. Truth is he's the only bona fide winger in the whole squad. I'd still never give him a game if I were manager though.
I'm just waiting for Shergar to turn up and tell us which teams are way too old and have no chance and then there you'll have it, the finalists.
Vardy ahead of Lallana, Bertrand ahead of Rose and Stones ahead of Cahill for me. Tight between Stones and Cahill, but we won't win the Euros, so better to look to the future and give Stones experience rather than give Cahill one last chance to **** it up. Hodgson will probably pick Wilshere alongside Dier, with Rooney at 10 and Alli out wide, although he may put Rooney on the wing. Either way, I think he will start Wilshere, who will be massively unfit and will thus make an expensive mistake at some point. You heard it here first. Germany to win because Germany Ronaldo top scorer by battering Austria, Hungary and Iceland in the group stages before going missing in the knock out rounds
Well, I got the team bang on bar Sterling in for Rashford. Predictably enough, Sterling was our only ****e outfield player. Put Vardy or Rashford in against Wales and we should stick four past them. I would also drop Hart, because he's gash.
I thought both Lallana and Sterling were **** tbh. And I'd have Clyne at RB. Better defender and better at going forward.
Nah, Lallana was ok. Not brilliant but he played ok. As did all bar Sterling and, ultimately, Hart. I also picked Walker over Clyne because he's a harder **** and I stick by that.
