Well if they aren't as good as we think they are, why did Steve Bruce sign them in the first place? Players like Diame, Snodgrass, Dawson, Davies, Hernandez, Huddlestone, McGregor and Livermore come with Premier League experience, it's why they're internationals and have played at the highest level. To expect them to perform in a league below their usual standard should go without saying, it isn't praiseworthy to say we struggled to finish 4th in the league below where these players are coming from. It's about progress. We made some in 2013, then went backward. We've had to make up the ground again.

So congratulations Steve, we're exactly where we were a year ago. Way to advance pal.

If Bruce stays and we comfortably finish 12th I guarantee I will happily take that with no complaints.
 
It wasn't a mistake FFS it was a common use of the word countless. If you don't like my posts, just ignore them in future, asshat.

What like Phil Brown spent more on players then we ever had when he was at the helm, including our first million pound signing .. the mighty Caleb Folan !!!, We are and have been in the Premier League, this is 2016, players prices have rocketed, simple maths. Wonder how much the likes of Waggy would be worth now in this market >?

Why go to this extreme because you're not happy some people think Bruce has taken us as far as he can?

I've not seen anything in terms of mentality change to suggest that our next prem adventure is going to be any different to last time... and we all thought that was dour.

I'd give him until Christmas and assess our options then. Not one extreme or the other is it.
