Yeah, but you don't see a team lose 3-0 and claim they were the better team. How many teams have we panned and then had their fans say it was unfair as they were the better side?
We ended up losing a lot of Premier League games because we set up to defend instead of attack. As OLM said, teams like Bournemouth, Leicester and Watford have proven that a positive attitude goes a long way and I can't see us doing that with Bruce, I've seen no evidence of it in our last season in the Premier League. Our most positive was when we had Long and Jelavic up front, but soon after Long left we became very tepid and relied on getting a clean sheet.

We threw away a top 2 finish because of Steve Bruce and his team selections and tactics away from home

He was very risky In the play off final by taking off both our strikers in the last 5 minutes. Could you have imagined if we'd conceded a late goal and had to endure 30 minutes extra time without a striker in the pitch? It baffles me that move, turned out OK, but he could have ended up looking a right nugget.

At that point maybe, but we'd also conceded 2. You're using hindsight to justify the tactics when at the time everyone was ****ting bricks.
Quite a few and i do not disagree some i wished we had stayed at home,but as many say here we are supposed to have the players that should have walked this league as some put it,well they should be able to adapt and play against the teams in front of them if they can't then surely they cannot be as good as some make out,they play the games not Bruce he just trusts them to do the job.
