I agree actually. The sole purpose on the night was not to lose 0-3. We didnt do that and didnt even look like doing that.
Job done.
We most certainly looked like we were going to lose 3-0 in the first half.

I cannot believe the negativity surrounding this club at times with some of the shyte I read on here, `Bruce didn`t do it when it mattered` what a load of bollocks that is, he has achieved two promotions over a 46 game season (extra with the play offs), he delivered us Premier League football ffs, kept us up in the first season, and as said earlier had many contributing factors to being relegated the following season. He took us to our first ever cup final, and narrowly lost against Arsenal in extra time, after our most dependable defender on the day had to go off injured. HIS team beat both Middlesborough and Burnley during the last season comfortably at home and was unlucky to lose the return fixture at Boro, HIS team beat Derby in the first leg comfortably, and although they got beat in the home leg, they went through to the final of the play offs where HIS team comfortably beat Wednesday. Your constant bitching about him because he isn`t Guardiola or fkn Morinho is laughable, if half of you had stood on the stands at Boothferry over the years then you would have seen shyte performances, and clueless managers, ffs give your fkn heads a shake.

I agree with a lot of this. Is ashamed for wanting Bruce to step aside but..... How can we ever progress of we want to carry on being "little hull city"? The medium term dream is prem stability, mid table mediocrity, followed by European adventure. Bruce can't take us there
Keep him on until Christmas. If we're in the ****, get rid.
This is the point really, anybody attending that match will wonder just how we got away with it and why Bruce decided to turn things completely on their head tactic wise and give Derby a massive boost instead of going for a goal in the first halfLooked like we were going to lose 6-0 in the first half hour!
Totally disagree on this one, it seemed like an inevitable watching in the stands that they would go on equalise and make the final, how they didn't seemed more like luck than judgement when all we needed to do was set-up to score a goal and seal our placeI agree actually. And that for me was the most unforgivable part of his tenure. He loves rolling out the "little old hull city" line, but if he really understood what the club and true fan base was about he would have thrown everything at our European adventure. **** the premier league and its riches. We ended up short anyway, a proper campaign in Europe would have lived forever in our memories. I know hindsight is always 20/20. But in my eyes he ****ed up big time there.Brucey did deliver the European adventure Kev, only he screwed it up the extent it seemed more like a weekend break it was that short lived!

When we were down 2-0 inside 40 minutes..I didnt see that. I only remember one routine save being made all match.
Bruce till Christmas seems like a good idea to me anyway unless he has decided to go, just not convinced that there is a suitable replacement waiting in the wings or available. Maybe the squad we have will be better suited to the Prem and also there is no need to rotate the squad so much as in the Championship so Bruces job is easier

They were running us completely ragged throughoutI didnt see that. I only remember one routine save being made all match.
