There were suggestions that Klopp was looking to land Higuain after he was pictured to appear sat next to the Napoli star's brother and agent.
But Klopp's attendance was simply because he was on vacation in California - and he was not there on official business.
Higuain is not believed to be a target of Liverpool and negotiations have not taken place.

Liverpool are set to launch a £30million bid for Southampton's Sadio Mane.
Jurgen Klopp wants to land the enigmatic forward before any of their Premier League rivals and are reportedly prepared to pay the bumper fee that would secure his services.
The Senegalese star is said to be at the top of Klopp's summer transfer list as he continues his planned overhaul of the current squad ahead of the new campaign.
A move for Mane would add pressure to the likes of Christian Benteke and Danny Ings, who are already battling with Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge for a place in the team.
 
well... mane.. that is an inevitable and logical story for any press hack to publish as Koeman leaves.

I can see the list of players lining up for a move at southampton now.

I mean it really is a merry go round at southampton and really unfair given how hard they have worked off the pitch to have solid structures and organisation. They've a decent stadium.. 32k in.. maybe if they took some of the vast sums coming and brought that up to 50k and maybe if they appoint another good manager they can stop this ridiculous scavaging... but thats the merry go round.

Added that Klopp is happy with his 4 strikers and area is not a priority unless a big offer comes in for Benteke.

I feel as thought we have an area of relative strength there

At CB we have a few players with Matip coming in but i do feel once skertl goes another Cb will come.

LB is very very weak.. non existant to my mind. moreno is useless.

CM is very very very weak. just bang average players. I'd be happy to see 2 more arrive assuming grunjic is any good of course.

ACM as you say lacks competition. firmino, coutinho lallana and a couple young kids. we needs at least one player here.

Spoke to my mate yesterday. The above is correct. He also said things are 'very quiet' on the transfer front for us at the moment.He's off to France on Friday morning for two weeks.

in other words not signing anyone until euros are over and injuries are out of question.... and out plans went completely up in smoke the minute we were not in CL...
 
Jonathan Tah has replaced Antonio Rudiger in the Germany squad.. Rudiger did his cruciate days after signing for roma in training with Germany.

It seems PSG offered a whole a £23m for coutinho.

Marca have claimed they have the inside scoop and say we laughed off the offer but of course Barcelona are waiting in the wings

the reality is Ballague (he who hedges all bets and passes off stuff as ITK) was so confident barca were not interested he even said coutinh owas nowhere near a barca standard

Not seen enough of him mate but Klopp is the man for development. Can't see him getting much game time ahead of Origi, Studge, Ings & Firmino though (although I think Studge will go)

That proves beyond doubt you haven't seen much of him. The lad is a goal machine and also links play up well, is fast and unselfish. He is young but very focused and calm, he would be a great addition to any squad and get plenty of game time.

The kid is very very good imo.
.mentioning ings with respect is insulting him.

I think if city don't use him they are mad. But I think he will get enough game time subbing in for aguero and playing donestic cups

I think he will get a fair bit of game time, one thing you can say about Pep is he doesn't hold young players back.
