You'd have been better off quoting the other part of my comment that clearly states I've not seen much of him <doh>

What's the deal with Sakho now? Do we need another centre back?

One good season, attracting attention.. I do not rate him that much big fish in a small pond, is he going to perform in a big pond?. Our Origi, Sturridge
are better than him. If not for injuries Sturridge should had score than him last season. If we buy him, who is leaving apart from Benteke?.

I've already said that I think Vardy may well struggle elsewhere, but this is a flawed analogy. He's in the same pond as everyone else in the PL.

his style is busy... he will do a job. the issue is he may never score 20 again any season... i remember phillips well... made a career hawking round off one good season.

I disagree with Vardy to a point, I think that if he stays with Leicester he'll get 20 again they suit his style of play and he also looked a dangrous striker the season before last. He's a very good player but at 29 would I want us to spend £20 million on him? Nope.

If he's playing where there are many star players ,City, Manutd Arsenal, or even Liverpool, he may struggle.

Still playing against the same teams though (apart from the one he's moved to), so he's still in the same pond.
The analogy means that someone looks good when they're against inferiors, but if they're in the same league, up against the same standard of opposition, then that's not the case.
If he was playing in the Scottish league and moving to the PL then the point might be valid. <ok>

Vardy and Lukaku are both currently at teams who are completely set up to maximise their goals. Difference is Vardy delivers when it matters whereas Lukaku is usually #doingalukaku

up to a point? ok... he got 8 on the bounce or whatever then didn't score for several games. for all we know the conditions for this getting 20 goals may never exist again. no mahrez for example.. etc etc.

He could be man marked... etc etc.

the main point is he was fast, a busy player and just made a couple types of run all the time and every leicester player was looking for him instantly.

If ozil just turns and plays it short he can make the same runs at arsenal and look muck.. we can't know.
