LOL...cannot be arsed. As I say...you think about it and some of the potential challenges of generating a successful consortium where the lead guy does not have a few quid/dollars/yen/euros

I wouldn't know how difficult it is as I have never tried to be part of a consortium, have you? What are the potential challenges?
 
I don't like consortiums. Members always fall out at some point.

Individual owners are can be as mad as a box of frogs but at least decisions get made (even if they're the wrong ones :bandit:)

Are you sure you didn't just dream that?

He's valued at $1.2b, he'd have no trouble finding £60m on his own, never mind with a consortium.

The paperwork filed with the FA shows he deposited £500m cash in an English bank to facilitate the takeover.
