Naismith has all the right attributes. Experienced Prem striker, great speed and work rate, doesnt want to stay in Championship with Norwich, knows our Scottish international lads (McG, Robbo, Snoddy), probably available for under 8k, and a good lad ("Britain's kindest footballer" for his charity work). He'd fit in well in Hull and would literally hit the ground running. Him and Hernandez would give us real speed up front, and Thudd would love him.

Also Charlie Austin for his aerial threat. Our crossing ability has been wasted for too long.

Remy's my #1 choice, but I don't think we have a cat in hell's chance of getting him and his wages are budget breakers.

Grigg or Roofe as the lower league lad.

McCormack would be the championship player I'd take, scores goals and adds a bit more. Would cost a bit though.

As a big lad to hold up the ball, that's not silly talk... (Remy [emoji15] and Deeney isn't leaving Watford for us)
You know what... I haven't got a scooby. I just fear they'll be crap after Prozza...

I'd take Naismith - still think we'd need 2 more. I'm not sure what I'd do with Diomande, maybe loan him out to a Championship club until Christmas and see how he does with regular games. Doubt he'll get a look in the PL.

Naismith is a good shout, a confident finisher and underrated, and like Canada says he is Jock friendly which will go down well at City with the other lads

We've already got 4, one would have to go.
Shankly said anymore than 4 jocks in a team and you've got trouble.

    Really? Speed?

Naismith has some qualities, but I've never thought of speed as one of them.

Now, crying like a baby at refs - THAT is something he really excels at!

We need someone who can cry at refs. It's something we've lacked as a team. If he excels at it that's a bonus!

    Fra........

Naismith, Austin and Remy are great choices for me. I think Naismith is realistic, Austin I doubt would come due to the shenanigans last time and Remy is highly unlikely, but stranger things have happened.

Probably not going to be popular, but I would bring Jelavic back as a good solid back up. He's still only 30 so has some life in him yet imo.

I'd rather bring back Bullard, Jelavic was a complete ****er at the end.

Naismith did nothing at Norwich and can barely remember him before Everton.

Could take a gamble on Zivkovic but think he is a bit wonder in waiting for Ajax.

Still think, always have, that we need to be getting potential from Eastern Europe and selling on each time after 18 months. If that means scouring the FM database for potential then so be it. We've got the old heads already in Snoddy, Thudd, Dawson and Davies. We need people wanting to push on for that next move not last payday signings like Crouch, Naismith et all

He was, but he has quality, experience and can still do a job and would be in our price range. Would rather have him than a certain FC who I am more than sure we'll be linked with and probably end up getting!!

Naismith had started scoring a few goals until he got inexplicably dropped by Martinez.

We were lucky to get rid of Jelavic with his dodgy knees, he only got a move to the Spammers due to his mate being the manager, and even then he soon shifted him on, simply not good enough anymore at Premier League level, not to mention his worsening knees.
