BBC South Today saying a decision may be announced tomorrow? Is that without RonKo being involved if he is away?
Marca reporting that Quique Sanchez Flores is stalling on signing for Espanyol after receiving contact from Sevilla. Article mentions that Emery is wanted by Southampton and may be about to leave the club. http://www.marca.com/futbol/sevilla/2016/06/05/575407b1e2704e1d378b45db.html
Yeah, but is he leaving for us or PSG. I want it to be us, my cynical side says we'll be used as leverage in negotiations with PSG though. I hope I'm wrong though.
It really is a shame, he could have seen out the final year of his contract,(like he always said he would) or he could have extended on pretty good terms. Either way he would have ended up a club legend, fondly remembered. He could of then gone off to manage Holland or Barcelona and all would seem right in my small and crazy little mind. Now the fncking ginger tosser has left the club that gave him a chance in the premier league, going back on his word, to manage a poor imitation of a rival club. From legend to sh1tting, cnuty, w@nking traitor in a few days. (Sorry ladies)
If you live in a world where nobody believes anything anyone says then that will spell the end of humanity. If you say you're going to do something then it's your responsibility to see it through. If you don't then prepare for the backlash. And yes, if I was Ron I would have turned it down. "Sorry I have committed to this place of work for another year, but I will be available next year." Many of us of in "normal" employment have long notice periods to prevent this type of thing from happening
I will add that it's worth nothing that other Spanish outlets are saying Atletico Madrid are looking at Emery if Simeone goes to PSG.
For what it's worth, I was checking the Everton forum, and their trusted ITK seemed to think we gave them permission to speak to Ronald at the start of summer, and that we are only trying to make it look like we tried as hard as we could to keep him. Again, not sure how reliable that is, but it's an interesting twist in the tale if true. I can't see Reed outright lying like that.
Bit dramatic, end of humanity! At the time he said he would stay, he moat likely thought he would, he got a great offer, and is possibly going to accept it. People should never be held for changing their mind, it is their prerogative and yes, people will and are venting their frustration, but I is aimed at someone else for making a decision on their life. Thats not the end of humanity, that's just life so ud better toughen em up sweetheart! I don't believe you would turn down a double your salary rise with lots of money chucked your way to sort a problem. That would likely be the end of humanity...
Wish people wouldn't use that as an argument when it comes to most footballers ... Ron's already a multi-millionaire, he doesn't need the money like we would.
Simeone rejected PSG, he wants to have at least a season with Atletico at their new stadium. He'll probably end up replacing Mancini at inter next year.
I have first hand experience of a few multi millionaires (sadly not me), but one thing I can say is that they are tighter and more greedy than us 'normal' folk....
Utterly irrelevant, his life, his money. And normal workers as it were put have notice periods, RK had a year left. They are all negotiable and that is happening with RK. Seriously I wouldn't be surprised if our Board have driven this whole episode and should be congratulated if they achieve £5m in compo...
We're not talking about nobody believing anything anyone says, we're talking about not believing a definitive statement from someone who works in football because they may be offered a vast sum of money to go against that statement.
