Leicester have put the release clause in his contract for a reason, £20 million is a lot of money & Arsenal will not get it back, he has no sell on value after this move should it happen!
Arsenal IMO, don't need a striker anyway, everyone always says they do, but for me it's the defence I can't believe that Mertesaker & Koscelny are still there, that's their weakness, no up front!

It's still not the area they need to improve on.
They can score all they want but apart from Cech, who's coming to the end of the road, their back line is ****!

Arsenal don't pay ridiculous wages typically, compared with other big clubs, and whilst I'm sure they'll increase his wages hes on around70k a year as it is so I don't think money is the defining factor. I cant see Leicester repeating next year and finishing 2nd to 4th is prettyuch guaranteed at arsenal. Still bloody strange as I can't see them playing to his strengths and I don't see it being a good move for arsenal
70k a year? Has he got an Engineering degree?

Take the money. An extra £50k/week for 3 years is £7.5 million ON TOP of what he would have earned at Leicester. It's all relative to us but for him he will effectively retire in 3 years time in his early/mid thirties so if I was him I'd make as much as possible whilst I can. Before we get too sentimental about Leicester giving him his big chance etc, they could just as easily sell him against his will to capitalise on his market value - it works both ways.
This. ^^^^
A no brainer "bird in the hand" situation. Good luck to the lad...security for his family for generations.
There but for fortune...

Vardy to Arsenal doing what all so called big teams do to smaller teams, buy the player most valuable to that team to weaken them, so everything back to normal put the small teams back in the cage.
I suspect they're more worried about the so-called "big" teams. The chances of Leicester being ahead of Arsenal or any of those "big" teams next season are less than Donald Trump or any of his ancestors becoming the King of England, with or without Vardy.

You mean 5,000 to 1?

Sounds like Liverpool are leading the chase for him again now.

Fleetwood must be ringing him to encourage a move. They get a £5 million sell on fee.

If Vardy does go to Arsenal, don't expect to see him play as he will be suspended most the season far battering every Arsenal player/ staff who talks about winning the league. You know how it goes, chat Sh!t, get banged.
