Yep Smith seems pretty decent. But like most journo's has to add a little to flesh out a article. If it was simply Howe says no, it would only be a few lines.

From Adam Blackmore & Simon Peach's recent tweets, you'd think half the squad hated RK. Both also seem to have aore personal grudge than is usual for sports journalists. Sounds like it could be a blessing in disguise that he's gone.
I love the way the board do things. They talk the club up, are positive about everything and then if someone messes them about they have proven to be masters of making themselves appear the victim and the other as the bad guy.
Sometimes it's not even the journalist themselves who 'fleshes' it out. They send the 'news' to the paper with a couple of lines explaining, and the sub at the paper will build on it and turn it into a longer piece. More common with tabloids, though.
Peach has been tweeting similar - I think journos are as upset at being misled as fans...
It's one thing if you doubt someone, but when they get you to buy into you as being this moral beacon and then you lie and go against your word... well, that's even worse isn't it? Think that's the general view.

Manuel Pellegrini wasn't even on the short-list, unlike De Boer. (Flores wasn't either, but it was drawn up before the end of the season, so maybe that's changed? Keep listing names games, I'll ask to see if they are in contention).
Pellergrini would mean that at least 2 board members have done a huge U-turn on future appointment profiles. Perhaps the club are just letting the rumour ride to show we can attract big names? From a purely personal perspective it seems a bad fit.

Oh, I agree - I'd have thought Journalists were more used to this stuff than us fans, but Peach and Blackmore seem genuinely angry with Koeman. I've not seen anything like it from pros before.

Peach is actually a Saints fan, although Blackmore is a Villa fan - but yeah, they seem as peeved as the rest of us.
