You must be right given Sakho has more caps than Kos despite being 4 years younger. Kos is clearly preferred.
A team player? Are you saying Sturridge doesn't play for the team? Or he doesn't link well with those around him? I don't care if he never smiles - he scores goals and suits our style of play. He's not liked simply because he comes across as arrogant. Players with personalities always split opinions.
Sturridge has absolutely no personality, he just sulks when he is not the centre of attention (bit like Memphis for us).
Dont we all. But when you see what hes on and what all his other colleagues are on you must feel resentful if you are better at your job than most of the others. When he was on 30 most would have been on double or triple what he was on. Even now some are like nearly double his salary
I know what you mean, but every time I see things about footballers "only" getting so much or justifying moves for bigger money when they're already multi-millionaires I cringe a little - being old enough to remember when they got ten quid a week and a bag of spuds for their efforts.
Nope, not really that interested, I just thought a guy like you might know the answer off the top of his head
True. Maybe i should never say underpaid again lol. But i dont blame him moving for more money... its not like liverpool have stood by him through injuries and as amazing as your support is, I'm pretty sure he doesnt have any real ties to liverpool. As happy as i would be if i won the lottery and won a million quid, if someone asked me would i prefer 2 million i would bite their hand off. Thats not to say i dont appreciate 1 million but given the option 2 is much better. Also if its psg we are talking about trophies. At liverpool he might be able to win some but realistically he wont in the short term. The only ones i ever do question are those that are blatantly not good enough and wont be playing and are bought as squad players. Your delphs and your sinclairs
I guess I'm just a pinko commie bastard at heart. I just watched (some of) a game where rich celebrities and ex-footballers play so ordinary people can give a few quid to help poor people in Africa. Now although they contribute themselves, and they're doing it for a good cause, I can't help feeling there's a significant irony there. Not necessarily on the part of the participants, but it just feels wrong to me that so many people are sick or dying f0r want of a few quid when others have money to burn. Jeez, I'm in a bad mood tonight. Think I'll go to bed.
I know. I'm too piggin hot today. We British are good at this - moan constantly at the bad weather then wilt as soon as there's a marginal improvement. Perhaps if we had more sun we'd get used to it.
He's not a team player at all, he always wants to do everything himself. He and Suarez didn't exactly get on because of this very reason! I can't say I give that much of a **** whether he smiles or not, but he could so a smidge of happiness when we (but not him) score a goal! I don't think he's arrogant btw, he's just a weirdo
Spot on here mate, the guy has had major hip surgery his body is taking time to adjust. The guy is class and IMO should be starting the Euros and is second only to Aguero.
I wonder how all those who told me Leicester had changed it all and there was no top 4 any more are thinking today. Everton take koeman. Massive wage Arsenal look to be picking Leicester apart... Psg in for Kante and maybe coutinho. As I said 8 into 4 does not go. The big clubs hoover up players as per. Best of luck Leicester... troy Deeney replacing vardy... Jesus wept. Wanyama replacing Kante??
Sturridge has never sulked because he wasn't centre of attention, when we had Suarez he was constantly trying to better him, which is no bad thing. People sometimes seem to think he's sulking but really he's always been quite languid on the pitch.
