If you've got players good enough for the Premier League why would you replace them when the money can be better spent elsewhere? He couldn't get in Bournemouth's team, but that's probably down to the form of Matt Ritchie, Josh King and Max Gradel (who came back from injury just in time).
There's no ****ing way we're in for Lee Tomlin, there's no way any Premier League team are in for Lee Tomlin.
Might sound mental, but could Callum Wilson be tempted from Bournemouth? Offer £10m? Trebles their money.
West Ham made a bid for him and Ritchie and got rebuffed. I've a feeling they'd have offered more than we'd be prepared to.
As Sydney said, West Ham bid upwards of £30m for Wilson and Ritchie but were rejected. I think Bournemouth would be holding out for closer to £20m for him.
Scary to contemplate but £20million is the sort of area we are going to be looking at to get anyone half decent. Who'd have thought it.
We really need 2 quality strikers, and an excellent midfielder. To get some decent ones we May have to spunk around the£40m on them, if we want to stay up
Good shout if he isn't one of the ones being taken to Everton by Koeman. Even so, if Long leaves Southampton it could affect Austin's price. I'd love to have him here though, Bruce is a big fan too.
Just seen that Moussa Dembele is available for around £13m from Fulham. 15 goals last season and still only 19. Worth the money?
Aren't Spurs the front runners for him? They want to be ables to sign everyone called Moussa Dembele so it confuses the opposition!
Spurs are after a lot of people, but with Harry Kane as their out and out striker and Son as the back up, not sure he'd get much of a game.
Wouldn't that be exactly why he would get game time, because they don't have many players in that position?
