Yep Livermore, Diame, Meyler, Huddlestone all ahead of Norwood in centre midfield.

Yeah there is not many centre mids that can improve at a higher level once they get into their later years...

    *cough* Ian Ashbee *cough*

    What midfield?

EDIT: I'm not proposing we play all four of those in midfield lol, I'm saying they're all ahead of Norwood for a centre midfield place.

Drinkwater proved himself after Man U so who knows , maybe this Norwood can. We do well with these ex-Man U lads, look at Chester and Brady for starters- Phelan will know if Norwood is up to it. Powell was showing a few glimpses of potential too, not sure what's happening with him now

For ****s sake, not seen much of Norwood then have we? Probably Reading's best player this season. For the price quoted he would be a bargain.

Although he's getting a bit long in the tooth, what about Ross McCormack

Maybe you're right. I'd say Taylor was better than Bruce though.

Do you think we should take a punt on Powell or not? He looked to have something about him the bit I saw. Surely we have to be realistic with some of our signings we aren't going to get a load of superstars

our midfield is well overrated by our fans

Let's go with diame , huddlestone, Livermore and meyler relegation written all over it

We need to be ambitious and majorly improve especially with the prem cash, clubs around us also yang to survive will be majorly upgrading their squads but yes huddlestone is good enough let's stick with him

Diame is a very good mid in the PL, he was brilliant pre-injury for us. Livermore without the mental issues he had last season will also be tremendous. Huddlestone and Meyler are decent depth.

Norwood; Reading's best player = £1.5 million - not good enough

Hughes; played 2 games all season for Derby = £15 million+ - SIGN HIM IMMEDIATELY!!!

    City fans are tards sometimes.

Who's judging Hughes off the two games for this season? That would be a bit silly.

Not sure on that one sterling, think he made 7 appearances this season in a team that was hopeless. We need a decent quick centre back. I'm a bit worried about Dawson tbh, foresteri (I know that's spelt wrong) left him for dead in the final then he made a mistake that Davies had to come across and make a tackle
