Same applies. The bit on their twitter seems to point to a journo asking a question of the Prem, and getting a general, non-committal reply.

Interesting to see how it pans out. None of it would stop people being shifted out of upper west, which still seems to be just accepted.

    You are very dramatic, Obi.

The answer would have been none, as the Arsenal model has concessions (forget in how much of the ground) where some children and oldies will pay less - access might be limited, but that does not seem to bother either League or punters.

I think the rest of what you have posted is bollocks, taken as a snap-shot and without structure or context, so I think we should wait to see what happens.

It seems others can sort out what a concession is, or will the legal beagles now start arguing?

It bothers some of the punters but that's what happens when you have a waiting list for your season tickets and even for their silver membership.

I'm not dramatic at all. As you say if they increased the prices for OAPs and adults in the family stand the Premier League wouldn't be bothered as long as there's concessions available for the away support as well.

Not long to wait the season starts in two months. The Premier League AGM is sometime today, does anyone know if we got our golden share?

As pay on the day prices haven't been announced yet, is it possible that these could include a limited number of concessions?

What if they only applied to away fans?

Not unless they've changed their minds, the plan was for no concessions on match day tickets for home or away fans.

I'm pretty sure if they put concessions on match by match tickets that you'd get some cancelling their direct debits and buying them instead
I wouldn't put it past them just doing it for away fans though...it's important to improve visiting fans match day experience !!!

Yes, they could very easily do both. As long as the prices in the family stand are less than the direct debit That should be fairly easy this season because we have the no family will be paying more than they did last season guarantee.

As concessions don't have to be in every part of the ground, do they have to be available every game?

Adding an element that fits 'concessions', doesn't really stop the rest of the scheme going through as is.

    Who knows
I imagine they'll change as little as possible
I suspect Obi has described the most likely, Arsenalesque, outcome
    T as they say WT

In deed. It just seemed some seemed to be hanging a lot on definitions, interpretations of rules and the PL.

That just seems to lead to dissapointment, and a lack of other action. None of it seems to be addressing the current round of evictions.

True, The evictions don't seem as big an issue as concessions for most.

A fair few I've spoken to say being moved, or being next to away fans was a big factor in their decision.

I still don't understand why the club don't want concessions. Even if you don't do it to reward older fans for their support and to encourage youngsters to attend and become long term fans the other point would be to set individual price points to get more revenue than by keeping the prices the same as for the majority of fans. They've spoilt that a bit by allowing people to cheat by not checking tickets when entering the ground.
Why do the Allam's think they can turn everything on it's head from what has developed over many years?
They should look at Derby and Brighton to see what forward thinking clubs are doing. They could even make more money by offering free entertainment before matches and selling food and drink before the matches - like Manchester City. If they kept stalls and bars open after the match like Brighton there may not be the stream of people leaving early to avoid the delays.

So if we matched brightons ticket prices you'd be happy Peter?

I'm totally against taking away concessions but when you look at how cheap we made concessions prices there really wasn't a flood of young supporters coming in. 50 quid or summat like a season yet it didn't work.
