I have to say I'm still confused about all of this.

Which to prefer; pissing into the tent or pissing out of it comes to mind.
Do you build bridges to tear them down?

Surely if we vote out, then France is no longer obliged to prevent the Jungle residents hopping on the channel tunnel train and taking up resident in Kent or wherever..
Immigration seems the biggest issue. Germany took nearly 2 Million last year and a large number of those were non EU.
There has to be a quota system put in place and from what I've read that looks as though the EU will be forced to come to some sort of agreement. between it's members.
It is also patently obvious that combined with quotas, newcomers like Turkey and other smaller economy nations should not be given equal voting powers with the richest countries.
My gut feeling is that there is so much discontent at grass roots level in particularly the UK, Germany and France that the Big Boys in the EU will forced to make changes which may accommodate many of our misgivings.
For example it would more appropriate if the voting power were to be based on the county's GDP.

We don't need an act to treat humans correctly!

Just do the right thing.. Sometimes that has to be for the good of the many not the few!

If we vote in it will never change!

If we vote out it MAY have to change!

We don't need an act to treat humans correctly!

That depends on the humans in question and their motives and intentions.

We need to treat people accordingly and exercise diligence and intelligence when doing so, and not the liberal 'welcome one, welcome all no matter who you are' policy that Germany adopted to start with.

Thats why I put this!

"Just do the right thing.. Sometimes that has to be for the good of the many not the few!"

I mean this in the nicest way possible mate but that is nonsense. That's like saying we don't need laws to govern our citizens.

You announce that the city centre has adopted zero tolerance for drinkers on nights out. People think **** if I start something tonight I'm busted.
This does have an effect on the less drunk but love to bring violence into their night out ..for the totally smashed it not stop them at the time and it may have an effect next day till they go out again and repeat

why is eastern Europe crime so prevalent .. because caught shop mlifting and you get a warning then another and another any fines if it goes to court is next paid by a visit to a few shops ...
so no zero tolerance here.. and the "gang bosses" pay the fines, who if caught plead all sorts of human rights etc and disappear for a while or move cities .. I had a discussion in the pub lastnight with a close friend ..he was the biggest surprise! he is going to vote out...NO STAY IN... next 45 mins he was shot down a number of times along with another surprise friend 20 yrs old whom I had always considered extremely trustworthy hard working and had "bright ideas" he had not really thought through ... had I been asked to pick him as a member of my debating team I would likely have resigned ... he had it all sussed and knew what he was on about ... ! did he change his mind ..NO
8 AROUND THE TABLE AND 1 YES 7 NO ...

This argument reminds me so much of the FIFA debacle.

First of all it was, They are a fine upstanding example of a world body acting on behalf of other nations and lettings the smaller countries have an equal say.. "Good on them!"

Then, "they don't like us much do they, maybe its just us being paranoid, we weren't the best when we were running it!"

Slow realisation starts to creep in.. "Have you seen that journalist who keeps accusing them of corruption, he's quite convincing you know"

Then, " I reckon one or two of them are at it you know. I suppose its always the same in these big organisations "

Then "****in Qatar, cheating corrupt bastards"

Then, Have you seen how much they have been skimming off, they're all at it. they should be locked up for this, I hope they throw the key away!"

Well, the British people are slowly beginning to realise, the likes of Cameron and the rest are just feathering their own nests. They are just like FIFA, power crazy and corrupt in their own little bubble.

Vote for me and I will ensure immigration drops to tens of thousands within 1 year says Cameron.

330.000 at the last count and rising.. he's a liar!

Ok, so do you think Muslim Sharia law is balanced?

There are laws and there are laws.. there are acts and there are acts.

Hargreaves Lansdown founder Peter Hargreaves has doubled down on his support for a Brexit, saying community has nothing to fear as other European capitals don’t have the expertise of London.

Speaking to the BBC Today programme this morning (18 March), he said: “We raise money for the Russians, we raise money all over the world for countries that are not in Europe, there isn’t the expertise in Frankfurt and Paris to do that.

“You can’t suddenly have the expertise to do it, because they don’t want to use London. They’ve got to use London. London can raise billions on a few phone calls. Nowhere else can they do that and most people that work in the city wouldn’t want to work in Paris and be taxed to the hilt.

“Most people don’t want to work in Frankfurt,” he continued. “They want to work in London because London’s a fantastic place to work. These people aren’t going to move, so if people want it done they’ve got to come to London because that’s where we are.”

That little bit of insecurity will be a fantastic stimulus for us.

Peter Hargreaves

A poll by the Personal Financial Society earlier this month found that advisers are equally divided over the split.

Mr Hargreaves, who is a vocal Brexit supporter, also said that the move would provide the UK an impetus to innovate.

“The one big thing in all this, and I’m firmly convinced that if hopefully we decide to leave, that little bit of insecurity, that little bit of unknown will be an absolute fillip to everyone. It will be a great incentive to us to go out and prove that it’s right.”

He said this happened when Singapore became independent from Malaysia. “That little insecurity, that they were no longer part of Malaysia, was an inspiration and it’s now probably the greatest economy in the world. I honestly that it will be good for us as well. That little bit of insecurity will be fantastic stimulus for us.”

Addressing the issue of EU workers and talent already in the country, he said: “I hope the ones that have gainful employment here we’d keep. We will always import people to do the jobs that we need here.

“We import Filipino nurses. They aren’t part of the EU. We employ people from all over the world to help us with the jobs that need doing here. It won’t stop us importing Polish workers and other people from the EU.”

Answer the point. You said the problem is the Human Rights Act. What specific part do you think is the problem?

I'd want the best option for Britain and I'd rather us cooperate with the Eu than go back to the stoneage just for a bit of sovereignty
So why would it be ok for your grandfather, and so on to fight for sovereignty to just give it away?
I'm interested in your reply to this so please be rational and answer this for me?

Human Rights Act isn't imo

It is if people are using it as a tool to help them commit crime and laugh at the people who administer it.. It then works against the people who it was designed to protect. Why should we have to 'pay a price' for having it when it could be written to protect the innocent only!

Not everything has to be some sort of apology for bad people..

Do you have any idea of the sacrifices people and families gave just so you could have the right to even vote in this referendum? you would give it away an unelected EU corrupt parliament because you think we will go back to the stone age?

On what basis do you come up with this?
