What really p1sses me off is when they say things like the Germany player rather then the German player.

Oh please don't get me started here, why oh why do posters on here keep saying "bareing in mind"? It's fecking "BEARING IN MIND" FFS <grr>

Yes the 'would of' is one expression that really winds me up. That and so many people 'dropping their 'Gs' <steam>

Makes me squirm and growl like Marge Simpson when I see apostrophes where none belong <grr>
For example, there's a local ice cream van often parked up near East Runton beach and it's sign-written to say "Fete's and Functions catered for" - So how the **** do they deduce that one plural warrants an apostrophe, whereas the other plural doesn't? <doh>
So let's hope the entire world reads this section from the OP article <ok>
8. Grocers’ apostrophe
It’s a truth universally acknowledged that vegetable stallholders in particular are never happier than when they are sprinkling apostrophes around like slug pellets. “Carrot’s”, “Plum’s” and everyone’s favourite – “Potato’s” –which manages to get a plural and an apostrophe wrong in one sign. An apostrophe does NOT make a plural.

I'm a bit worried about you mate...how did you make "BURNING CROWS" into Bearing in mind? If you hurry Specsavers are still open!
I never mention "bearing in mind", your post STARTS with the words "Here here, Norwich used to have......", page 36, post 704 at 08.40am yesterday, on the "General Conversation Thread"..I am not sure just what yourself and Dave are seeing.
