That is my point Gandy, why are they discussing wrestling names in the first place? It's just padding.
I can't deny it's padded out to the point of annoyance. That's why I record it and fast forward through the detritus (most of it anyway). Just something light me and Lady G like to watch while we're eating the culinary delight of the day I've cooked for us. To be honest, it's probably the most fun we have together these days.
Getting back to the original thread, why does everyone say "yes, no" when asked a question? It's really annoying, is it a yes or a no!!!!
What I was trying to say, obviously badly, is that wind instruments are ALL made from wood. If it is made from brass, it is a Brass instrument. Where is RBF when you need him.
Resurgam is your man when it comes to brass instruments, etc. He plays some and conducts a band at concerts and stuff
I had no idea. In which case, they're both in pole position to put this particular debate to bed right quick!
There was a piece of graffiti on the wall of an old house near the Gibralter Gardens pub for years, it read; "S Hewitt is a hour" Who on earth "S Hewitt" was or whether she was "a hour" or not I have no idea
Don't follow your logic at all. It's a Brass wind instrument made of Brass not Wood so does not belong in the Woodwind section.
I had a fine time piece made by Hewitt, Hewitt and Hewitt. S Hewitt made the seconds hand, and his brothers Morgan and Herbert the minutes and Hours respectively. So I would say your graffitiest has got it all wrong, "H Hewitt is a hour", where as "S Hewitt is a second". And it was Stephen Hewitt so not a she neither! Bah!
So how does a flute belong in the woodwind section, when it is not made of wood? I think you could be getting confused with wind instruments, which are normally classed as woodwind, and brass instruments, being both classes as 'aerophone' Try telling some of the Northern guys, and girls, that they play a wind instrument, and I hate to guess where they will stick their instrument
