He is ITK with all things in Liverpool. Seems to have contacts for both clubs, rarely get's things wrong tbh.
Jesus. One tweet and people start acting as if he has left! Calm the **** down people. Ignore bookies odds as they a response from bets rather than information being obtained.
I feel sorry for Fran in all of this. She's flown off to Newcastle and if she looks at the website this evening there's seven new pages. By the time she gets back there'll be even more pages and she'll wonder if he's signed judging by that. Nope, not yet, sorry Fran.
No, odds plummet because a load of money is placed on something. Why? Because there are a load of morons who think Twitter is the bible.
Koeman wasn't at the meeting, it was his agent. His agent isn't contracted to Soton therefore Koeman has done nothing wrong. His agent is doing his job. If there was a potential £6m on the table from EFC and he's currently on £2m with a potential £2.5m on the table at Soton, then if he was your agent wouldn't you expect him to at least speak to the prospective employer who'd dangled that carrot?
It really isn't "often" the case. When there is a change in odds but no news being reported elsewhere it is down to bets being placed. In fact Sky Sports have actually given us the reason why the odds have been cut... It's fairly obvious in this case.
Adam Blackmore tweeting again... @bigadamsport: Things between @RonaldKoeman & #saintsfc would have to turned sour very quickly for him to consider Everton & giving up Europa Lge for another season of flux, despite Everton's ambition. Not a career move for Koeman IMO. And would be really go back on his word?
He's winding you up mate. My source on this is a Southern based Blue who has an 'in' with the new regime at Goodison.
Exactly. Koeman joining Everton would make absolutely no sense unless something has dramatically changed between him and the board.
Amusingly for our Scouse friend, reports emerging in the British and French press that Coutinho is interested in a move to PSG.
Best log off until tomorrow. Should know then and can get on with being excited about either a) Ron's new contract or b) Who our new manager will be.
So where is the fire when Ronaldo is linked with a move to PSG/United every summer but never moves. Or the fact Ibrahimovic has been linked to about 10 different clubs this summer... A lot of paper talk is made up, which means there is certainly smoke without fire. In this case it is ONE journalist, don't you think if something were going on there may be more than just one bloke who knows about it. Also, the fact Koeman categorically ruled Everton out is probably a better indication of his future rather than one Dutch bloke.
