Arsenal offer concessions in a small part of their ground and nowhere else. They haven't accepted your logic and I doubt Ehab will either. Policing concessions in three blocks is a lot cheaper than policing it in the whole ground.

Arsenal don't offer a membership scheme in the rest of the ground promoting one price for all, which is OLM's point.

Silver and gold membership applies to the rest of the ground. Different sections have different prices but there is no concessionary prices for children and OAPs.

They don't market their prices as being the same price for every person though, do they? So while they might not offer a concession, it doesn't underpin their entire strategy.

Exactly, if they offer concessions anywhere at all, the whole principal of a one seat/one price membership scheme is screwed.

I like to know who is on my side and who is against me.

The question I asked was what are the likely changes needed to get Premier League approval. The answer, based on the Arsenal system, was none or not many.

Arsenal have a system in place whereby children and OAPs pay the same price for a seat as an adult in over 80% of their stadium. The price may vary because of its position and its view but it doesn't vary because of the age of the person sat in it. A 5 year old sat in the seat next to a 30 year old will pay the same price.

Arsenal's system complies with rule R.7 or the Premier League would already have told them to change it. Hull City can increase the prices of OAPs and adults in the family stand and we will comply with rule R.7. I wouldn't be surprised if we are already complying with it in the eyes of the Premier League but we've already gone around in circles on that one.

Would I see increasing the prices of OAPs and adults in the family stand as some sort of victory. Haven't we got concessions back? Well not for me. We'll have some small changes which mean that the membership system is likely to remain unchanged for the vast majority of supporters, with no concessions outside the family stand and possibly the away support.

A pyrrhic victory only. One that is likely to leave a disgraceful system more or less in tact.

The Premier League have just issued a statement regarding Hull City's membership scheme breaching Premier League rules, but it doesn't really say anything. It just confirms that they are aware of the issue and are currently discussing it with the club.

Slightly off-topic, but it's good to see they've updated their website already.

Be interesting to see how it pans out. It's hardly breaking news. The prem have been there all week looking into all aspects, as they do for promoted clubs before accepting them.

It could well be that the local media spoke to the guy, asked if he was looking at ticketing, and were told the prem look at ALL aspects of the club. That'd still spin that 'break' from the journo.

A question not strictly about the rule, but given these on going talks to buyers, why now for these changes? Particularly the upper west.
