This would be a real curve ball. The Belgians know his popularity with the fans, and he knows what conditions are like in the Belgian Madhouse, so I find it hard to see how it could work. Maybe Murray hopes to get credit for unearthing another Curbs.

Shame, I'll have to despise him now.

Whoever the manager is, the stench of the owners' culture of lies, half-truths, general dishonesty and contempt for the fans will still infest our club until we get new owners.

he's now 8/11. odds on favourite. it's only to sell ST's and a cheap option.

he still wont be able to pick his team, or sign his own players. whoever is manager will be massively handicapped.

JJ as manager would be an admission that they couldn't get anyone else to take the job. Please don't do it, Jacko.

Another revelation. According to CL, we didn't get Keith Hill because we could'nt match Rochdale's wages. Really screamingly funny. We are at the nadir of the club. And KM reckons RD has put 38 millions into the club so far .What a jerk.

    According to Dr Kish,

The JJ rumour is not true, he is not about to be appointed manager and the Hill thing was not that we could not match his wages but we could not match his current terms ... and here we are talking about length of contract <ok>

Sounds more likely the contract thing. What did we offer. Three months probation and use of the laundry van if we get dumped out of the FA Cup by Margate?

The odds on another network stooge must be shortening. She'll say "We tried to get a British manager, God how we tried". I'd be over the moon, because appointing a British manager would appease quite a few fans who have short memories. Roland's latest taunt about needing a Belgian owner at Sint Truiden because a foreign owner would not understand the Belgian mentality should remind them what he's really like, ie poison.

The trail has seemingly gone ice cold. No journalists have a sniff of anything happening, whilst most anticipated it would have been yesterday latest that a man would be in place.

This has to fall on KM's shoulders. It's either a ploy - like FHB mentions, a rouse for her to say she's tried to hire an English manager.

Or, season ticket sales and RD focusing on ST has put doubt in his future plans for us. Work on the training ground has supposedly stopped in its track. Could be an interesting couple of weeks.

Seems they can't find a manager prepared to work under Roland's terms. Amazing, when you think of all the managers and would-be managers looking for work. I wonder how she'll spin it when we eventually get someone desperate enough?
"After a long exhausting search we believe we've found a worthy successor to the string of stooges we've had. We've been given permission by the Dog & Duck to speak to their manager, who we believe is prepared to work for the minimum wage"

From what I get that's now four managers we've spoken to, that we know are actual managers, and three I guess have turned us down.

Thing is, none of the managers have actually got me excited. Even this kid we've brought from Stevenage, who hasn't even played a game for them (and talking to the one Stevenage fan that I know, knows nothing about him), cannot get excited about.

I'm buying a Harliqueins season ticket next season, and it's £110 more than the Charlton one. So it's not about the money for me, it's about these ****ers really not getting what we want. Makes it all more so ironic, given what Doucebág said at his St Dontgiveafuckabout STD&I-VV press conference.

When they want to soften up the customers with a Head Coach announcement, watch Rich Cawley hint at it first on Twitter. Despite his frequent denials, the bloke is the proverbial tame patsy provincial jouno with his head up Meire's arse. RC tests the water for Meire with a "I have heard Hill/Atkins/Symons/Davies etc" is in the frame tweet, which is no doubt closely monitored for reaction by Olly Groome.

I have just concluded a poll asking customers why we have no manager - 244 responses and 75% think its because nobody wants the job.

A worrying 21% thought it was because Meire was too busy being humped by Naby Sarr <cheers>

Great, we're going to get Lord Vary's as our new Head Coach... Least he'll have his little spiders all over the place. 009819-ee04363c-dbcf-11e3-917f-8bca2ad8cf46.jpg

Hugely underwhelming if Slade is indeed appointed - an alumni of Scarborough and Grimsby before treading water at Orient.

Royston, who have we been linked with who is exciting. Imagine a strike forcé of Makienok and Church, and that is the sort of managers who might accept the chance to work for Roland.
