What do we supply them with, because frankly most things produced in England are produced by foreign companies so again the money ends up leaving here.

It's not what is made here, it's more about who owns the companies that make it :emoticon-0100-smile

Difficult to say. I know that the government had to approve the bringing of the case, but I'm not sure if they had any power to stop it if the criteria were met. The fact that they're going to repeal the law indicates that they won't be acting in future though (also in cases with Turkey), and goes against your earlier point about Merkel clamping down on freedom of speech.

So just to clarify then, if we leave the EU we won't have £350m a week extra to spend on the NHS (looks like you're earmarking any surplus to prop up the markets after they collapse with the shock) and all the old people who are sick won't suddenly recover because all the medical staff miraculously turn white? Pity, I was looking forward to see a English person being the first on Mars.

Not that I am saying it's correct but other than the complete bigots, hasn't one part of the Brexit argument been that due to the enforced free movement of the EU we have been forced to take largely unskilled workers yet limit non eu immigration including skilled workers? They argue that having total control of immigration would allow a more selective admission process from across the entire world to fill vacancies we actually need filled.

Now I don't know whether limiting non eu is part of the treaty or a misguided voluntary balancing act to keep migrant numbers down...cutting our nose off to spite our face so to speak.

I think this is an issue for the Brexit camp..it's not a united vision. There are some loons who don't want anyone in, others who at least at face value don't mind immigrants but want the process to be more selective....remain highlights the more unpalatable Brexit view as it's more revolting to normal people. Remain doesn't have the same problem..most agree that the EU needs reform..I haven't heard a loony section of remain insisting on total integration of a federal union so sound more sensible as a "camp".

See the Guardian released two polls that now put Brexit ahead.

Anyone think this is a reaction to the almost hysterical campaign by key figures in the Remain camp?

As some on here have suggested they would vote a certain way as a reaction against some of the key figures in Brexit. Has dislike for the likes of Cameron produced the same type of voting intention?

Why, you wonder, would the Mail be creaming themselves about the pound tumbling after The Guardian poll?

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rive-public-fears-numbers-coming-Britain.html

    Cherchez les hedge funds?

And no Frank, the reaction isn't some sophisticated reaction to Cameron's oilyness: it's dog-whistle politics being employed by Murdoch's chief attack dog, and the people of this country love to put their small-minded, paranoid prejudices above all else. The Remain camp must have known this would happen when the Brexiters lost the argument on the economy -and they have, and they know they have - and will now spend three weeks on the Katie Hopkins trail dismissing anyone who opposes them of, er, dismissing them as Little Englanders. Neat little circular reasoning there.

I said weeks ago that what it will come down to is just how many will think of the economy over their flag-waving delusions when they're actually in that booth voting. We'll see, but even when Remain was 10+ points ahead I was never confident.

As I said I don't doubt that we will be worse off, certainly in the short term. The rest of your post is just drivel as no one is suggesting non whites will be told to leave the NHS. Clearly if the NHS needs foreign staff then our immigration policy will have to support that. My concerns on immigration are not founded on racism I just believe that 330k net migration every year is unsustainable.

The sad thing is that you cannot find the truth in it all, all you have to go on is dodgy polls and bluster from idiots. What you cannot do is base an opinion on the truth as each side is throwing nonsense into the equation you therefore have to make up your mind on gut feeling from the crap that thrown around.

Dodgy polls are to make people fulfilled their dodgy agendas:making up their own stories, however, the truth will always prevail.

Net migration doesn't average out at 330k though, that's the peak figure cherry picked from 2014.

The new welfare rules have stabilised the flow and the simple fact remains that even despite the UK population having risen by circa 7m since 1990, net unemployment has fallen in the same period. So that proves that most of the migrants have added to our economy rather than detracted from it, and GDP has also continued to rise.

Bailing is a great idea @Tobes but you'll probably end up having to pay for health care. I'm defo in but I'm going gut feeling only as there's so much crap from both sides I'm finding it impossible to make an informed choice.

I do anyway mate - twice over.

For me there's simply no choice to be made. The economic outlook should we leave ourselves out on a limb, could lead to a complete meltdown. The risk is simply too high, the only tangible reason to opt out, is to effectively cordon off our island and stop the flow of economic migrants. Not much of a benefit if our entire economy collapses.

We can continue to legislate to control the flow from Europe, by continuing to increase the difficultly level for anyone to come here and not self provide either by work or by personal resources, by making a 'free lunch' virtually impossible for them.

Just man up and negotiate your status properly is my view.

All anyone needs to do is Google UK trade with eu to fund the true scale of the markets importance to us.

The fact is even if people say x us company is here to take all profits back the reality is they are serving eu market and jobs could.. not will but could go
