Apparently Wolf brewery are about to launch a new 4.6% ale called 'Norfolk Pride' <ok>
I'll certainly give it a whirl when I see some.

I had a couple of Lupus lupus, very nice too. I also really liked the kitty of ale from the fat cat. Bullards number 5 was good, better than the No.1. My favourite of the weekend as i remember was the St Peters - Ruby red ale.

    Bah!

I've had the Bullards No 2 and 3 - both were pretty good. Will definitely get out Sat to sample some more and look forward to trying the Norfolk Pride.

    You sure about that? :emoticon-0112-wonde
    Not a particularly "grown-up" comment.

So saying I prefer a drink for its flavour rather than the thumping headaches and hangovers suffered in my younger days is not a "grown up" comment?

No, I tend to do likewise these days and have cut down in the beer stakes, I was referring to the chicken comment in the 'restaurants' thread, which most four year old would split their sides at.
Alas, we don't have too many four year olds on this forum <ok>

    What's that saying?!

"One man's meat is another man's......feet?"

I've never heard the "one man's meat..." one before.

Just saw this on twitter - seen in a bar in Dublin apparently.
Most of the things on it are poignant...and true! <yikes> <laugh>

Off to sample some of the ales on offer for this year's City of Ale Trail a bit later, starting in the Plasterer's and then on to the King's Head before finishing at the Ribs!!! #lightweight

Dublin is incredible. Though I do prefer both Cork and Galway as they're less crowded / frantic?
Confessions time. I went to Dublin for a week a) to have a look around, Howth, Bray etc, but b) - don't laugh, to see The Corrs headline at what was Lansdowne Road stadium (now the Aviva stadium I think) :emoticon-0111-blush :emoticon-0111-blush
1999 it was, so older - and a tad wiser these days, you'd hope!
