Seems unlikely given his previous quotes about why he didn't buy Liverpool. Wouldn't go into EPL because it is essentially throwing money away, mainly due to having no salary cap

All guessing I suppose but it'd be great if a stadium complex is built or is the aim multiple sources of income that benefit city
 
I know plenty about American banks, with a wife who worked for a US financial giant. There's always a bank involved, along with lawyers and underwriters.

My point is this seems to be all speculation still. With layers being added, and a story growing out of nothing.

Need a credible source to name names, or it's still guessing.

That depends on how much you trust David Burns. He was the one that confirmed Goldman Sachs interest.
 
Involvement rather than interest I'd say. I'd be gobsmacked if any US buyer didn't used them.

You could be correct, but it's just as likely to be enlisted by any wealthy Yank wanting to spend.
