I don't forsee a decent trade deal without us having to comprise on immigration.

Only less delusion <laugh>

Gasheads will get that business will not cease due to the UK leaving the EU.

The rest of the World trades without your odd world of trade deals existing only by allowing hundreds of millions of people free movement to their countries. Its a ridiculous notion.

Can anyone explain to me why we have seen 330k people migrate to the UK last year, and the 'Out' people say it's because we are in the EU and it will stay the same if we remain - and yet we are NOT in the Schengen group?

The populations of member EU states can live in another EU member state. That figure will rise when other nations join the EU e.g .Turkey, the Ukraine ...

So how does that differ from Schengen then?
Its because Schengen is borderless although most borders do have some sort of presence, but "out of sight" but you are not stopped... or extremely rarely ....
it differs because the poorer countries tend to see the grass is greener and wages higher .. whilst richer countries are happy with their lot ...

eg of this was Poland chocolate worker here was getting £400 pw in Poland it was per month ... In Romania hotel staff got /get? £80 per week here it is a day!

Country file ..tonight Cameron v Boris wish I had recorded it .. I think Boris will make a good PM he gave sensible answers and I felt he was not hiding anything

R&W I will assume you are genuinely asking the question.

Schengen means complete free movement throughout the signed up EU members with no passport / border controls whatsoever.

We are obliged by the EU to allow anyone from member states of the EU access to the UK to work or live. we are not part of Schengen and can carry out border controls but it means nothing as we are still obliged to let EU members enter at will.

Worth a read!

Without Schengen area, the Paris bombers would of struggled to cross over the border lines, and most probably been caught sooner.

We might have border controls but we have two separate lines etc EU travelling and non EU lines. Wonder which one gets more control?

Its also why, when the stay brigade (normally the really thick ones) say yeah, but it makes going in holiday really difficult? As the other countries in Schengen insist on strict border controls for us entering anyway it will make absolutely no difference whatsoever!

Its done as part of our 'punishment' for being 'difficult' all the time.

And some people want to get further in to bed with these people..???

45 mins to enter Portugal through border control last week!!

45 mins to enter Portugal through border control last week!!

BEFORE Slovenia entered the EU I went there 3 times ... from Austria in was 2 hours quickest .. one day the temp was 38 in blazing sun ..coming out via ITALIAN BORDER WAS 30 SECS the third time, 3 mins on the second time there was a non eu car in front about 10 mins first time and only because I could see the "guards" in a room and didn't seem interested and then a car went past me straight through ... last time 4th visit Slovenia into Croatia 15 mins back out 5 mins

So you're saying the EU is ****.. but lets stay in despite all the ****ness about it because we don't know what might happen if we leave?

Thats a good old British attitude.. "I'm scared, I don't like change"

Or,

We could embrace it and really focus as a nation on making life outside better for the people that live here!

The point is that why the Eu isn't perfect there is no plan long term if we leave which is niave and a bit dangerous

Britain being a democratic and true sovereign state is obviously a long term.

What is the long term plan to deal with uncontrollable immigration and its negative impact? The answer is there is not one. That is not only naive, it is dangerous.

the truth with Boris . it wont be easy and it wont be quick a couple of years to adjust... Cameron it will be a disaster we wouldn't get this that or the other everything costs more we will be doomed ..

stay in = do as you are told = pay us more = as we want to pay you more ! .. every pound we pay in = 25p back or less .....

its actually so so .. .. .. S I M P L E .. .. .. we stay in, then in a few years, for a few years we then save money,
on parliament ..we don't need it,
costly law courts Brussels will sort that
get rid of tax offices we just pay 20% of all we earn to Brussels
pay 20% of what we buy to Brussels ( vat )
get rid of our farms, land needed for housing ...!
food will come from the sparsely populated areas of eastern Europe where UK migrants go to earn a crust and send a few bob back to their families in Bristol Manchester London etc...
... etcetcetc
