I would think if its Americans and they are interested in us, that it makes it more likely they will purchase us if we dont go up. The sports group down the road(silicon valley, with billionaires in it) want to buy a club that is specifically not in the Premier League.

No offense SydneyTiger14,but surely searching the web for"Randy Lerner" and "Aston Villa" should bring up enough links to the goings on around the club and person named.If I'm after specific info that's what I do...I cannot comment on Randy Lerners losses(or not) as I couldn't give a **** about Villa.Information is usually out there now,unlike in the '80's.

Yes google can solve all sorts of problems, but if people want to engage in a discussion on here and ask someone to expand on their knowledge, I don't think that's unreasonable. OLM saying that Lerner lost 10k every day of his reign is a cool stat, and asking what were the causes of his losses isn't unreasonable.
