It's all relative ... we have had the lowest wage bill for the last 2 seasons, if you exclude newly promoted sides ... we won the EPL title .... you didn't ... now you must suck on lemons until August (which may have indrect health benefits for some; Stan in particular, given where his face has (allegedly) been resting recently <laugh>) ... and that is all. <ok>

... Kevin Keegan would be proud of me ... ".. loving this ... I'm just loving this" .... so much so in fact that I'd quite fancy another of those EPL title thngies next season too <laugh>

And look what happened to Keegan.

One spent £250m (less incoming of £116m) and the other spent £80m (with Sales of £90m). See if you can guess which is which?

Now if someone could put up the real issue tables here and go from season to season on value of the squad with wages and support for that squad since the Premier League began you'd see why things went the way they did till this season .
With transfers over 1 billion last season and both Manchester teams getting new managers after a horrible season , it's not impossible for the Manchester clubs to spend half that amount alone by the end of Next January .

He who has the biggest pockets will often win, but now as more clubs have big pockets it makes it more fun
