Yeah gifted managers are often embroiled in controversy - abbreviation free post

I know i keep harping on about it. But you are a decent member and post regulary. If people could understand your posts, you would get many more replies. Making the forum better for yourself.

Its totally up to you. But surely typing posts and getting few replies is frustrating.

I dont care that you want Sams lovechild. But at least let us know why. Its like reading one of my kids facebook page at times.

Thats the problem - I don't do Facebook -
But I'm signing off for a while to enjoy watching the Euro's and the media waffling.
But like a bad penny I'll return as a 60 yr old .........

Seems to be a hell of a lot of people who are convinced Mourinho will flop at United (loads on local radio), I guess we'll find out.

Did I want him as our first choice? No.

Do I rate him? Hell yes.

Is he a winner? Yes.

Is he the best we could have got? Probably.

I don't think he'll flop. The guy's been a winner wherever he's been.

My only concern for Utd fans is the style of football he'll bring to Old Trafford.

But I'm betting he'll prove me wrong on that just to spite me!

I'm not an O'Shea fan either mate. In fact, I might (repeat very cautiously 'might') consider one relatively cheap option - Matt Kilgallon is being released by Blackburn. This lad never put a foot wrong for us on the field. His issues, whatever they are, are clearly serious and off the field. Only Sam can decide the seriousness of that and I'm not offering any opinions here. But it's there - and he is potentially excellent. Make your own mind up Sam.

I'd love Matt Kilgallon back. After his release by poor Blackburn side it would definitely be a step forwards and would show the rest of the PL that we mean business.
